    The impressive scope of your readings, has prompted me to ask if you might have any insight into an incident that occurred in 1964. In Eastern Nevada, a Bristlecone Pine, of at least 4900 years old, was cut down by a graduate student to determine its actual age. The tree had been named "Prometheus" and its senseless death, understandably sparked outrage. I had wondered, since hearing about this, if the consciousness of the tree, given its great age, perhaps orchestrated the event, in order to move on, to another experience?

    • @11cabadger
      @11cabadger Місяць тому +1

      Are you suggesting Prometheus arranged an assisted-suicide in order to "ascend" to a different level of existence? I'm not being snarky; I'm sincerely wondering if an ancient tree could do that and whether the morality of such an action would make a difference in whether or not it achieved its goal.
      (Apologies if you were joking.)

    • @KarenKarcher-f1g
      @KarenKarcher-f1g Місяць тому

      @11cabadger If human beings, supposably have several opportunities to exit life, as psychics have proposed, I don't see any reason why this would not apply to other forms of consciousness. If you read about the circumstances that lead up to the decision to cut down the tree, it almost feels like everything that should have prevented this tragedy, was bypassed. I have to believe, that a consciousness so ancient, would be well aware of the impending risk, and could have allowed the graduate student to successfully take his core sample, as he initially intended. How is it, that the official, who gave permission for the student to simply cut down, was unaware that this life was beyond a national treasure? When I first heard the story, the immense tragedy just seemed too surreal, that it occurred so casually.

  • @LifeIsButADreem
    @LifeIsButADreem Місяць тому +9

    Aren't we all so glad to live now and not then? Many of us probably *did* live in those times, but current consciousness is now. I will echo others when I say that I am so happy you have left comments open here. We all adore your readings, your interpretations and your great humor, so it's nice to be able to tell you how much we appreciate you.

      I thought the very same thing, Lisette, about them being some sort of slave class or such. But, 500 slaves seems a bit much, but there doesn't seem to be any limit on how those in control maintain their control, does there?

    • @Lisette777
      @Lisette777 Місяць тому +2

      @@feralhuman Hello! 😊I guess there could be 500 slaves over a long period of time, lol! I meant the two he was talking about - especially the woman. They could certainly have been sacrifices, thieves, crazies, etc. But to me, the bog seems like a bit of an insult, you know? Humans usually seemed quite concerned with the holiness of the dead body. So many ceremonial burials that turn up during archeological digs. Bog to me sort of seems like a town dump, I guess?

    • @feralhuman
      @feralhuman Місяць тому +2

      @@Lisette777 Yeah, you could be right about the town dump. I guess IF you believed them to be a thief (or something), they might not rate on the burial scale for a decent grave or anything. It’s possible that other bodies were not naked because vegetable fiber garments (linen) disintegrate in the bogs. Wool and leather are preserved. Thus the Tollund man might have been clothed in linen.

      @@EnlightenedBeingsClub - Yes, that is quite likely if he’d been killed for doing something or for being a ‘special someone’. I saw the Tollund man at a a Danish museum in 1969 when I was still in my teens. It was an experience both shocking and fascinating; perhaps it was because of the high level of preservation. He appears to be made of leather like his cap, yet one can indeed see every pore and whisker and read so many cares on his wrinkled, middle aged face. At the time I realized that I was witnessing the remains of a very, very foreign and deeply human culture.

    Thank you for looking into this and bringing this up. A lot of people used to try to say that these were “ritualistically sacrificed” and then given to their gods and I used to get angry at this because I was so sure this was not the case. These people died in varied ways and in various time periods and they died by being murdered, executed for crimes, died from illness, suicide, by accident, in attack, in battle etc. and if anything they gave the bodies to the gods by putting them in the bog which acted more like a cemetery rather then a human sacrifice most of these were not and some were put there to hide crimes like you said and some were buried and some were put there. Also the organized structure you saw is possible because I also don’t believe they were as crude as we were assume in those days in that area, do not so far fetched that the homes were clean and organized. Again thank you.

    In the Iron Ages back to 500 B.C., privacy hedges were used to delineate the boundaries of villages, homes and farms. A machete or saw could have been used to shape hedges. The Tollund Man was a 30 - 40 year-old victim of human sacrifice and was hung during 405 - 380 BCE and then buried in the bog perhaps to ensure fertility.
    The Huldremose Woman was over 40 years of age, fully dressed in a wool skirt, two leather capes and a scarf. She lived between 160- 340 BCE During the Iron Age. The Huldremose Woman traveled long distances outside of Denmark during her life. Strontium atoms outside of Denmark were found in her body. This woman did wore bronze jewelry and two amber beads adorned her clothing.

    I've always wondered about this bog man and I've been trying to figure him out for a while now. I didn't know there were more people in this bog. I liked your pictures about this, it added a lot of detail to the events that he must have experienced. The impression I got from the bog man was that he was a thief, and I got the same "people performing their own justice" on him (people being his victims). And really, to 21st century me, the things he stole weren't that important or valuable ... maybe food ... but these people were the vengeful kind. The woman, in my impression was killed for witchcraft. It seems those were savage times. I think too that the bog was just a handy, "no fuss" way of disposing of bodies.

I was entranced by your telling of the man's stealthy, yet failed, efforts to avoid detection, & agree that he had committed some sort of perceived 'atrocity' or crime according to his tribe's code of ethics. And the woman, I think, was possibly schizophrenic yet looked upon as possessed by demons, as you suggested. Or perhaps she even had the gift of prophecy or psychic insight, which made them fear her. Have you ever looked at her handwriting, and do you have any insights into why, after all the work she put into the book, she chose not to fulfill the plan laid out to her by Jesus (or the voice she claimed was Jesus), and why did she have such difficulty practicing the lessons in the workbook herself?
    Thanks!

    Cash, have you ever done readings on the Lumarians of Mount Shasta? Or some of the other strange goings on at Mount Shasta?

      No. I’m rather hoping to get to Mt Shasta and do it all in person.

    You had me on the edge of my seat with this post. Your abilities are amazing and expanding. I have seen photos and read some things on the bog bodies. I remember pictures of the man and wondered if he was a criminal. Burial in a bog could have simply been the easiest way to dispose of bodies of murderers and others not considered worthy of a decent burial. (It also would not surprise me if some people accidentally drowned in bogs.) The Iron Age Danes did bury their dead and even have burial mounds.

    Thanks for these insights Cash, as someone with a keen interest in archaeology I've long been interested in the bog bodies. Your feelings about how these individuals came to be put into the bog ring very true, particularly the woman's demise. Thank you very much. 💙 🇬🇧

      @ this was many years ago (before I started to really think in those terms) but I can remember being so fascinated with the thought of who that person was when they were alive. I ‘needed’ to see it if at all possible. I feel the same way about the Herculaneum. I have no desire to see Pompeii, but I really want to go to Herculaneum. One of my favorite show is to watch on UA-cam is “Time Team”. I love watching them discover things from long ago and wonder about the people who actually used all the different things they found and lived in those places.

    Cash, you are the best. Such a talent you have and each time you venture into the unknown, it feels so real. There are many people predicting big changes coming, such as a spiritual awakening in the next few years. Edgar Cayce prophesied similar events happening in this time period back in the forties. Do you see anything like that happening? An influx of good souls coming in to change the world and many that are already here feeling a shift? For me personally, I think something is on the horizon! ❤️

And despite the wintery ☃ theme, it was like a warm embrace in the form of perfect timing (i.e., a 'sign') for me since my own current project just happens to feature ....a ☃with its own twist! @@EnlightenedBeingsClub I think it shall be a great hit! Plus, it just occurred to me, Cash, & perhaps it has to you as well....but that design would also be perfect for a horizontal Xmas card or holiday invitation for sale on Zazzle. Perhaps even as a poster, party placemats/supplies, even more! Well, 'snow man-men' searches are always huge at the holidays, whether on Zazzle, Amazon, etc.

    I still find sadness in both situations. Who knows what constituted being a criminal in 400 BC or the killing of a woman later on? Her struggle for her life touched my heart, even now.

    I love this channel! Both your channels...I wonder if you could do a video on the Kentucky Meat Shower in 1876, when pieces of meat rained down from the sky all over a farm in Kentucky.
    I'm so curious!
    As for this vid, idk how humans can be so horrible to each other...yikes!
