Commentary:
1. Thank you for everyone pointing out to me that "Scottish" and "American" are not languages. You don't say. Well annotations are now added if it makes you feel better.
2. Besides Scottish and American Tom does a lot of other accents which you can find in The Red Necklace and other readings. I might do a compilation of those one day if nobody else has done it already (I haven't checked). ;)
3. I did not include that interview Tom did in Russia with Chris Hemsworth and Jeremy Renner because he only spoke one word of Russian in it. And most likely you have seen that clip anyway. HOWEVER it is included in the new video! Go watch that one!
4. I am sorry that the video quality is not very good for some clips. I am just combining different videos I found on UA-cam. Nothing belongs to me. Here are the source videos:

Yes, I think that's one of the reasons. Speaking for myself, I have found him inspiring in many ways - and his depth of knowledge in literature (esp. Shakespeare) and languages is definitely one of the first things that inspired me!

I'm Scottish and his Scottish was spot on. I'd say it's one of the hardest accents to get right for anyone who isn't Scottish, and he done well.

Not a huge fan, but for sure this guy is admirable. He makes anybody smile.
Thanks for compiling these clips. Perhaps part of the reason for his knowledge of so many languages is that he studied the classics at university? That would give him an advantage in learning all the modern romance languages. Add to that his skills as an actor and an uncanny ability to mimic sounds + intonations, then his skill set becomes a logical extension of his talent + schooling. Albeit no less impressive! Wouldn't it be nice if he could inspire others to study foreign languages?

I studied Spanish and Italian in college and I recall so little of it that I understood barely nothing. Especially Spanish. Protip: don't take both languages in the same semester, you will get confused. My French is better, mais j'habite au Québec aloes duh.
I can help with the russian part. It is a funny child song from the cartoon. Tom sang "Anthony, Anthony, let's go dig the potato" (cartoon is about lazy boy which didn't want to do anything and so was left without dinner)

Regarding the greek thing, since GeorgeRingoGirl is being very vocal about it, I thought I'd set the record straight.
It is actually proper ancient greek. His accent is admittedly (and understandably) english-influenced, but the phrases are from Electra of Sophocles. If anything, greeks wouldn't understand what he said because most of us aren't fluent in ancient Greek and don't know these passages by heart.
All in all kudos to Tom for his language skills, colour me even more impressed. :)
