Disagree. While I was only an assassin for a couple days, none of y'all can out-horny the mind-numbingness of being both horny and "horomonal" at the same time, a masterpiece of a mindfuck that happens to me all the bloody time
I love runs like these, but in a game where you can teleport, summon rats, stop time and shoot tornados, it's a bit hard to hold back, glad to see someone who can
i dont get how people can be presented with such masterpiece and yet still be neat-picky about the required power usage. Amazing work Natteee, thank you for this experience!
Okay who gets upset for you jumping the entire time, I actually love and I love the fact that in the game they can't hear it, so I like to imagine Daud bunny hopping behind the guards XD
I'd thought you played like an absolute gremlin bastard the first game 'round, but immediately outdoing yourself on the first job here with a rocket jump off an oil tank? Bravo, man, this is one of the most charming runs of the series I've ever seen, and super helpful asides!
This is absolutely amazing. You set up a huge bar for people in the future trying to repeat what you've done. I haven't even watched the video yet, and I am already sure it's gonna be a masterpiece. Good job as always, brother. Always looking forward for more of your work.
100%, this tends to apply to everything in life really, people outside a certain field criticizing those who work in that field without realising that they don't actually have any experience or knowledge to back up their criticism. A master of something, by virtue of experience, can almost always make things "look" simple, be it by choice or style.

The problem with The Surge is that it does not behave like any other mission in the game, or franchise for that matter. You need to free 4 assassins, the problem is just that you only have your movement and blade to cause a distraction with. Even if you do everything correctly, there is no guarantee they will move to where they need to move and stay where they need to stay to be out of sight, and so on. Doing it once is annoying enough, but 4 times in row without segments or save scumming is basically already impossible. Furthermore, your assassins might attack the Overseers when you free them. So, both the distraction and behaviour of your assassins are out of your control. I call it impossible, but if anyone wants to prove me wrong, that's my challenge for you. Best of luck.
I think you're probably right that the Surge is impossible. I tried doing it, but aside from the one in the Corvo duel area and the one below that it's pretty tough to get the Assassins out. For the training room one I made a distraction with the wrist bow as there don't seem to be any bottles on the stage. Maybe I could have been a bit more patient with it and hid on a bookcase somewhere. For the final one in the back I resorted to using a chokedust to distract the Overseers while I got my boi out. Also I had to sleepdart Hume because he was having a staring contest with a music box Overseer. The pair got distracted by a guy upstairs ("Focus on the task at hand!") and that allowed me to pickpocket Hume, but not to choke him out, so I pickpocketed, snuck back, shot him with the sleep dart and jumped off the building. Even without the Assassins being assholes the mission is tough as nails so I'd like to see your run of it, with some relaxed rules. Maybe you could empty your inventory before you begin, so you have to find the sleepdart and chokedust on stage, if you want to torture yourself further. Obviously you have to quicksave on freeing every Assassin, but I'd still love to see you sneakjump past the fuckton of guards they put on this level :)
Having done the nihilist runs in all the games, I have much more respect that you did it within a single flow and attempt. Just as the last video, great video and perfect way to solidify the game. I hope and look foreward to DH2 as well!
Really love this series! The immersion of corvo shaking his head after every time he fell somewhere, the closing of every opened door or the constant jumping so enemies don't hear our footsteps - just like we real assassins do. Great video, thanks for sharing.
In my opinion, Knife of Dunwall was the best work done in the entire series. God I have so much fun with it. Just finished a replay right now, the nostalgia and superb gameplay had me back in the mood to play all the games again, which I’m now doing lol.
Man reading some of these comments is the funniest shit. People really don't understand movement tech, and it seems like they must play this game super casually if they can't simply understand why you jump when crouched. The main game was an absolute blast to watch you run.
