Hassan heuheuheu I’m japanese lol and sexual harassment is more apparent here because of crowded trains where everyone literally is side by side and mostly squeezed together. In this case, the person may accidentally touch another person and the person that got touched reports it as sexual harassment. Other cases though, a person may sexually harass someone by touching them and saying it’s an accident due to the crowded train. Also from what I heard, in many foreign countries, women get bashed for reporting sexual harassment and other stuff so maybe that’s why it’s more “apparent” in Japan than else where.
I’m sorry to hear about your advanced Kancho experience. I can’t even imagine what that’s like to go through.

I've studied for japanese for two years so it's helped me become friends with people from Japan! He's done a few attempts on Kancho on me as a joke since be knows what it is lol
Here in my country, when i was in elementary, we kinda do kancho but we call it something else. Yu Yu Hakusho was a very famous anime here during those days so we shout out "Ray Gun!" instead of kancho, which is the signature move of the main protagonist of that anime. The technique in the anime also uses finger guns while performing this technique, hence the usage.
In mexico the "Kancho" prank is called "Saca cacas" wich means: movement which pushes the shit out of someone's ass" and like Kancho we use this words as a war cry.

As a guy from Finland I find Japanese quite interesting in culture, folk beliefs, and spirit, as there are a few familiar traits and beliefs what we Finns have as well.
One of these interesting familiarities is Japanese folk tale/belief called ”kamikakushi” (propably wrong written romanji, sorry). It sounds somewhat similar to ancient Finnish folk belief/tales called ”metsänpeitto”, or ”forest blanket/cover” as it translates to English. In ”metsänpeitto” one gets from their familiar forest into a totally unfamiliar forest what spins around if not go upside down even. Some tales describe stories of victims becoming part of the forest, a tree, a stone, etc.
In familiarities of the spirit, I have been training iaidō and at times there has been training camps where sensei has come personally from the Japan. In one of the training camp’s Donneria party with sensei I remember the hired translator translating sensei’s speech of how he admires us Finnish students and sees in us same kind of ”kokoro” what his Japanese students have.
I’ll end this information filled comment with a funny fact;
In Finnish language there are a few sentences/phrases what can sound like Japanese language, but are in fact Finnish.
There is a Finnish performancing male choir group, ”Seminaarimäen mieslaulajat” (or ”Semmarit” in short), who have made a song consisting of a few of those phrases. The song’s name is ”Bonsai”, and the phrases used can be translated as: ”did your Toyota (car) get broken”, ”damned sweating cabin”, ”I wonder if I should strike/hit already”, and ”whole body covering Sumo suit made out of rubber” (yes, we Finns are crazy enough to have made big sumo outfits to experience sumo wrestling).
