With a 5 successfully secured in both AP World History and AP United States History, I want to give a sincere thank you to you, Mr. Heimler, as well as my AP World History teacher. You inspired me, challenged me, and instilled within me a love for history and learning. And somehow I pulled out a 5 on APUSH while purely thinking about Unicorns licking Heimler's beard the entire exam. I guess writing history essays is just second nature now lol. Anyways, you're an amazing person Heimler, and we all appreciate you. You have inspired so many people to think critically, challenge their thoughts, and enjoy a dad joke or two. Seriously I can't thank you enough for the time I've had these past 2 years, and I'm sad that I won't be taking AP gov to enjoy another year with you, but that's alright. I love history, learning, and just being smart and thinking critically. And while I don't think I'll use my new history skills that much in a Civil engineering degree, it will always be a personal passion of mine, and most of all you taught me how to work hard and value myself. Even though we all say you carried us through these difficult courses, you always respond that it was our own hard work and dedication that brought us through. You taught us history, but more importantly, you taught us confidence and self love.
I also think it’s important to remember that, no matter what score you received, the true value of taking the course comes from the content and learning techniques you were introduced to in the class. I truly believe that bc of taking apwh, I have a better understanding of how today’s social issues are a product of centuries of strained foreign relationships, colonialism, industrial development, etc. And having to practice DBQs and LEQs have made me much better at collecting pieces of evidence and connecting them to form a well-developed yet succinct argument. At the end of the day, AP exams are standardized tests, and they can only measure so much, but if you were able to get something out of this class that you’ll be able to take with you elsewhere in life, then it really doesn’t matter if you got a 1 or a 5.
i’m an extremely high overachiever. pairing that with depression and anxiety while taking ap world history during freshman year honestly probably wasn’t the best choice for me (and i still chose to do apush this year). by test day i had convinced myself i was completely going to fail and get a 1 since i hadn’t been able to study whatsoever. i somehow managed to pull a 3 and i’m really grateful for you videos because i honestly think they helped a lot! you can bet i’m going to be using your apush videos all year!
and the mcq section was really confusing because all unit exams i had leading up to that point convinced i was going to fail that section since they were so difficult. the actual exam was SO much easier
My AP stats class was great this year, my twin brother and I competed with a friend of ours to see who could get the best grade on literally every test. We eventually started getting consistent 100s on them, wrecking the grading curve on the tests so bad that our teacher actually changed how he curved the tests so that people didn't get screwed over by our friendly competitions lol. At one point my brother actually lost points with the curve (before our teacher fixed it) because the curve was intended for the expected score of around 70%. I'm happy that he changed it at least, because the curve he was using at the end actually gave more points back to low scores than the one he was using at the start. We turned a 40% into a passing grade, for example. I just wish they told us what we got as a percentage on the AP tests so we could see who won on that one.
I’m not even gonna lie I had a really good teacher, I just didn’t focus much at all with online school, and I somehow got a 3 and all that is because of heimler thanks
Same tho but i kinda lost hope for a 4 after i realized that that 2 out if the 3 of think it might have been the saq or sum i wrote in the wrong time period afterwards but barely managed to eek out a 3
I was simultaneously surprised and so not surprised by my AP scores this year. Had Ap Physics and APUSH and both classes were run by teachers that, although they tried their best, just didn't cut it. AP Physics was worse in this regard. As soon as I took that AP Physics test I knew exactly what i was getting despite the months of studying on my own. Was not expecting APUSH though Got a 2 on Physics and a 5 on APUSH. Must be the difference between having Heimler videos to watch and not having them to watch lol
Omg sammmmme buddy!!!! I took four APs this year and passed all of them except physics. I got a 1 😭 I put in so much effort too but that was the only class I took virtually so that definitely had something to do with. Conversely, I also got a 5 on APUSH! I was so shocked but I’m so happy for both of us!
heimler is an absolute goat. watched all of his apwh videos even when i was going through a hard personal time and got an A both semesters and a 5 on the exam! his tips for the dbq especially were likely the most influential in my score to those who didn't do so well, don't be hard on yourself! even if you put in a lot of effort, its inevitable that we eventually screw up on some tests. i spent a lot of time studying for a cs test and unfortunately failed it. don't treat it like a reflection of your ability and instead think of it as a learning opportunity for what you can modify in your next class :) - stay well through covid folks
Thank you so Heimler I got an A in Apush this year and a 3 on the exam, you also helped me get a 3 in world last year, hopefully you're around for gov next year you are the G.O.A.T 🙏‼️💯
I got a 4 on my AP World History Exam last year because of your videos, and a 5 on my APUSH exam this year. I really can't thank you enough man, keep up the amazing work!
Ended up getting a 2 on apush exam. Not depressed, but a little disappointed. But the essays just rlly got me and I just kinda was skeptical over whether my writing was good or bad becuz my teacher has never graded one single freaking saq or dbq practice the entire f*****g year so I never knew if my essays were good. I prob would've gotten a 1 if it wasn't for heimler but If only I got a little feedback, then I could've gotten a 3. This sucks becuz I failed ap world last year and I wanted to come back and pass a history exam, but ofc coronavirus has to ruin everything. At least I passed another exam tho and history isn't my major for college
I just want to thank you SO much for the review guide and all these videos. I navigated the DBQ & LEQ so much better with your help! You were a crucial part of my 4 point score. You’re the best!!!
Mr. Heimler, I don't know if you will see this, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had to much anxiety for this exam and with like 3 weeks before the exam, I started to study. I initially struggled, but after watching your vids and taking notes on everything, not only did I feel more confident about the content, I found the APUSH exam to be far more manageable. Checked my score today and I am so happy that it was a 5! Again, thank you so much and I hope you continue to make videos for AP Gov and AP WH as well
I got a 5 in AP World History thanks to a 64-page cram packet that a friend sent me, a prep book by a 3rd party company, and of course, tons and tons of Heimler videos! I can definitely say that my brain cows were sufficiently milked after that! Now, I'm taking AP Chemistry!
i got a 4 and it’s all thanks to you bestie. i wish my teacher got no credit and i know he’s going to pride himself on it. it got to a point where he literally just played your vids in class every day. I LOVE U HIEMLER

4 on the AP bio exam! I'm actually so happy cause I absolutely destroyed my brain for 2 weeks before the exam. Congratulations to everyone who took the tests! Regardless of how you did, your commitment to that particular class was enough to show up and take the test, which is worth celebrating in and of itself.
Got a 4 on apush - thank you so much Heimler for carrying me with all of your videos!!!! And yes everyone - your life isn’t about AP scores - life is so much more than that!!!!
Thanks for helping me through such an unexpected difficult year, but I’m happy to say that all the hard work from studying with your videos to class review allowed me to pass my APush exam. Couldn’t be happier regardless of the number. After a year like that, a pass is a pass and I couldn’t be more thrilled with it.

Im not gonna lie, i barely did any reading or homework during the 2nd half of the semester and had a D in the class. I did one packet at the end five days days before the exam and got a 4
@Harrison Gist Except you take the class for the high school grade and the experience you get in the class. The AP test is an added bonus and doesn't mean that much in the long run.
I got a 4 on my first ever AP exam! Heimler, I cannot thank you enough. I literally watched your entire catalog of AP World History videos in less than a month. It helped a TON with the MCG’s and your other videos really improved my SAQ’s, LEQ’s, and DBQ’s. At the beginning of the year I was writing 1’s and 2’s, so I never thought I would score a 4 on the exam, and I have you to thank for that.
I honestly had a terrible year for grades and was in a really unfortunate situation the whole year that affected my grades, which is unusual because I’m a straight A student, but your videos help prepare me for the apush exam, which I got a 5 on. I passed my two other exams as well and wanted to thank you for your help. Keep up the good work
I just definitely failed my LEQ portion of the test, I hope my DBQ and MCQ (I felt really good about the dbq like I think it was genuinely a 6-7 depending on what counts as outside evidence) is enough to make up for it my saqs were fine but not amazing i tried really hard for this

I had a B in US History class and ended up getting a 1 on the AP exam. I am pretty bummed out cause I was hoping to get college credit and also because I spent $92 on the test. I also wanted to make my parents proud, but even though I bombed the test my parents are still supportive to me which makes me happy.
a 1 is crazy
@@parky7417 truly, tho it's probably cause I pushed off studying last minute.
I forgotten a lot of stuff because for some reason I had ap us history class only one semester and unfortunately it was during the fall semester. This was during the time we had virtual classes because of covid. I also had a hard time focusing during that class, so that's probably why I failed the ap exam.
@@dayzmei it's ok just dont push yourself too hard. These are hard classes and yeah the covid situation definitely made it sucky. You tried and as long as you and your parents are happy then that really what matters. 😊
Lowkey a 1 in APUSH is unfathomable
@@agpbeats6916 thing is for some reason when I took ap us history I only had it for the fall semester. exams were in the spring. This was also when we had to do virtual classes because of covid and i had a hard time with that. It's still my fault for not studying before the exam and not being able to focus during class.
I also think a big part on why I got a 1 was because I didn't complete one of the essays in the essay portion.
I got a 3 in AP world and I'm happy with it cause I didn't study that much (very minimal) , and a 3 was my predicted score so I am happy with it especially because it was my first AP class.

Thank you so much Mr. Heimler for putting so much effort into helping us students study for these AP exams. Really, thank you. 😊❤️
Congrats to everyone who passed. To those who didn’t, I just want to let you know that a score doesn’t define you. You tried your best and that’s what matters. Have a great day. 🙂💖
You’re most welcome! And those are some good words…
Loved my class, learned a lot, took a lot of notes, binge-watched Heimler's History the weeks leading up to the test, still didn't do well. Disappointing, but it's not like this score will really affect my life that much going forward 🤷♀️
Exactly!! Great attitude! In the end, which I think many of us lose sight of, it’s about learning!
I did the same. Sadly I got a 2 but whatever 🤷♀️
"Whatever happens, happens."
I got a 5 on my APUSH exam. It's all thanks to you my man, your videos helped me so much and I'm glad you could be there for me.
Thank you so much for that 5! Couldn’t have done it without your help, this year was so crazy and no matter the score we all tried out best to make the most of the situation
i tried so hard and studied for weeks and got a 3 on my apush while my friend who didn’t study at all got a 4…i’m happy i passed but it still kinda sucks

W comment?
i’m an extremely high overachiever. pairing that with depression and anxiety while taking ap world history during freshman year honestly probably wasn’t the best choice for me (and i still chose to do apush this year). by test day i had convinced myself i was completely going to fail and get a 1 since i hadn’t been able to study whatsoever. i somehow managed to pull a 3 and i’m really grateful for you videos because i honestly think they helped a lot! you can bet i’m going to be using your apush videos all year!
and the mcq section was really confusing because all unit exams i had leading up to that point convinced i was going to fail that section since they were so difficult. the actual exam was SO much easier
I got a 2 in AP history 🥳🙏🏽
got a 4 watching all the livestreams before the test legit saved me.
What did you get on the AP exam
I’m not even gonna lie I had a really good teacher, I just didn’t focus much at all with online school, and I somehow got a 3 and all that is because of heimler thanks
Tried really hard and got a 4, can sleep at night knowing there was nothing else I could’ve done

Was not expecting APUSH though
Got a 2 on Physics and a 5 on APUSH.
@@mazengrace2997 Ayeeeee! It's a relief to see someone in a similar situation lol, good job on the 5 as well

heimler is an absolute goat. watched all of his apwh videos even when i was going through a hard personal time and got an A both semesters and a 5 on the exam! his tips for the dbq especially were likely the most influential in my score
to those who didn't do so well, don't be hard on yourself! even if you put in a lot of effort, its inevitable that we eventually screw up on some tests. i spent a lot of time studying for a cs test and unfortunately failed it. don't treat it like a reflection of your ability and instead think of it as a learning opportunity for what you can modify in your next class :)
- stay well through covid folks
Thank you so Heimler I got an A in Apush this year and a 3 on the exam, you also helped me get a 3 in world last year, hopefully you're around for gov next year you are the G.O.A.T 🙏‼️💯
I got a 4 on my AP World History Exam last year because of your videos, and a 5 on my APUSH exam this year. I really can't thank you enough man, keep up the amazing work!
I got a 3 on both apush and whap and honestly, I feel simultaneously happy, dissapointed, and betrayed (by the college board demons )
Yeah man, that was kind of like me in physics last year, but I hope you keep going and enjoy college!

Again, thank you so much and I hope you continue to make videos for AP Gov and AP WH as well
MR. HEIMLER YOU CARRIED ME ONCE AGAIN. I got a 5 on WHAP last year and a 5 again in APUSH this year because of you!!!

I had a hard time with the material and overall absorbing the content throughout the year but with your tips I was able to secure a 3 😁
