Bob doesn't understand basketball. He doesn't do the work to understand any part of the game. Hell, when we got Kawhi, he didn't even know he was a great player. He said he had heard of him and that's about it.
This actually isn’t a bad time to be a weaker team and get those lottery picks. The Celtics look like a team in the beginning of a mini dynasty so the next few years would’ve been useless being in the middle of the pack.

Are they expecting Matt to talk bad about this team? he gets paid to commentate their completely pointless games all season. If this team stays healthy they are at best a .500 team to battle for a play in spot.
Matt Devlin is an empty corporate suit. He will almost never say anything other than the agreed upon MLSE Raptors talking points in both interviews and during live game broadcasts.
I expect another potential move or two (Brown/Boucher trade) from the Raptors pre training camp. They need more frontcourt size-length especially if Darko isn't going to play Boucher. Vegas Summer League (July 12-22) is another important date when all the NBA GMs are in one place and deals tend to be made. @@dkarmusic5424 Brown/Boucher for Andrew Wiggins? Vezenkov, as of this morning, is reportedly going back to Europe. Raptors will most likely buy him out or just release him from his contract.
IQ, RJ, JP and SB will be forcing their collective way out of Toronto if they tank next season. Plus, the NBA doesn't reward tanking teams. Detroit had worst record in the NBA last season and picked 5th. Also, it's the Raptors 30th anniversary in 2024-25 and MLSE has events planned all season long - a tanking team defeats those celebrations as the fanbase will not be in a celebrating mood.

@@Biggdirt1 possibly but the 76ers are the NBA version of the Leafs. I’ll believe it when I see it.

I wonder what they will do with Chris Boucher, he plays hard, but is prone to mistakes
