The extremes in tempos don't really work well here. The song is a good tempo, but the last line of the chorus is slowed down wayyyyyyyyyy too much and then we jump back to the verse and it is jarring.
There is nothing quite like singing this wonderful and underrated hymn in a large congregation. Don't ever take it for granted. From someone who dearly misses the old paths, the old hymns, and voices lifted in song.
