One of the many things I love about your podcast is that you discuss your topics with such passion. Every time you mention anything to do with a KISS album, I listen to it immediately after your I complete your episode. Des Moines was no different. LOVE this release. Dare I say, I liked it better than ALIVE II.
another fantastic episode guys! "I Stole Your Love" is topps for me especially going right into "King of The Nightime World". I like the rawness of the recording and the hunger that you can feel in it. They still have something to prove. I'm not sure where this ranks yet as its still new to me and I unfortunately have had only one spin so far of it. "Ladies Room" is also a highlight as well... so far haha. What I'd like next if I was in control -1984 Animazlize Tour -1988 Crazy Nights Tour - 1991 Hot In The Shade Tour - 1995 KISS Convention Show (There's an odd ball for you) Again wonderful show. i just ordered the vinyl for this hearing all the songs that leaked on youtube this sounds so raw so sloppy so og kiss cant wait to get it the sound of the snare drum alone is so peter criss just awesome
The look is bare bones, but one reason could be that they are going for the 70's "bootleg" look of a big rubber stamp on a plain sleeve (like the stones/live'r than you'll ever be) etc...
I was slightly disappointed in this latest release. The sound quality was slightly less than what I was expecting. I will still play this concert though. I’m like you guys, something from the Eric Carr era definitely needs released!!!

Thought it was something wrong with my Spotify and had to check Kiss' official content of it on YT, and couldn't believe my ears. It literally sounds worse than the audio on my bootleg VHS tapes. Can't believe that they try to cash in on this garbage.

agree on the sound quality, its poor at best. they should not have released this for purchase

Fair enough. I too thought it was very rough sounding. It certainly makes me love KISS Alive II more lol
