dude thank you so much, i've been so worried that i would install this and it would be blank. Couldn't find anything online on IF i needed to do this or not. Wanted to get this part squared away before i started soldering.
No sir. As soon as you plug in, it should recognize as a usb storage device and open an explorer window. Maybe make sure your ribbon cable is seated properly on the chip?
Hi, thanks for the video. I have two questions, I passed the file as you indicated and the chip flashed blue 1 time 6 times yellow. continues to flash yellow 2 times is this normal? furthermore, if I press the boot button and connect it to the PC (after inserting the uf2 file) , two text files appear and not the uf2 just inserted. despite this it flashes blue once and yellow twice . Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?
You’ll get one green/yellow upon successful load, then the explorer window will auto close. That’s normal. If you try to plug it in again, you’ll get one long blue, then a bunch of green/yellow short long pulses. That’s also normal. So it sounds like you’re good to go. It physically won’t pop up again in windows once it’s done right.
Thank you, I kept thinking it wasn’t coping properly when the window closed and when I reply it back into the computer the same 2 files where on it still.
@@Randyisanerd no lights at all, the drive is recognized and I see the default files but when I copy the uf2 nothing happens. I have 2 mod chips doing this

i have 2 that wont flash the uf2, i installed thinking the uf2 was on there and it just boots OFW.
What color leds are you getting on the chip? If any?

When you copy the files it should “eject” on its own. No lights means you may not have hit all the solder points! Take a peek under the scope again.
@@Randyisanerd i am flashing the card outside of the switch, fresh out of the bag powered over usb. Thats how you load the firmware.
I mean now that you’ve installed it. Are there any LEDs blinking upon powering on?
Ty but where i download the firmware :(? Ty
I can’t post it here, but if you search the file name in a search engine you should be able to locate it.
❤Thanks
