I'm a lover of parrots and I have an African Gray. I' m trying to reproduce your stunning painting. It is the first attempt for me with my new Sennelier soft pastels. It is difficult and I already did a lot of mistakes but I'm going on. thank you!

Not sure what you mean by never drying as it's a dry medium. But yes I use mostly the soft pastels and just a little pastel pencil for smallest details. It's the sticks I enjoy the most.

Do you alway mix soft pastels with pencil pastels ? i find using soft pastels for a background the colours will never dry.,this is brilliant.
