Recently, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also returned nearly empty-handed from a trip to China where he had hoped to secure major investments for Pakistan, especially through a revival of CPEC. But with the flagship project of the BRI suffering in Pakistan due to internal turmoil, is China growing tired of Pakistan? The concerns of China are genuine in view of disturbed political and economic situation of Pakistan. Time will tell how Pakistan is in a position to set it's house in order. There does not seem any immediate solution to their problems.
