My apologies, If you can help us with my pain point related Purview:
Please if possible speak with real-user case for Azure Purview to protect structured data with Azure Purview: Azure SQL, Data Catalog, Sensitive info types in SQL DBs, On-premise databases, Storage account, and Multi-cloud.
this is a blackbox even for people working inside MIcrosoft, trying to reach a resource that knowns about protect Azure resources with Purview is very difficult and they only send us to Microsoft's articles which are difficult to understand if there is not demos.
thanks for all you sharing knowledge with the community.

@@Sergio-Here-In-Community No apologies necessary. If I can help with this I will. As I said in the video, the Azure side of Purview is not one of my areas of focus, but if I can find the answer I will certainly share it in a video!

Hey Peter, do you have follow up episodes for this series , Part 2 for example ? :)

Yes, they are in my Learn Microsoft Purview Playlist. You can find it here - ua-cam.com/play/PL9f-PbmksakBgp03XQJo_0sLrId5Rig48.html - you will need to join the channel at the minimum level of Junior Consultant to view this continuing series.

Great Vid > one question > I can't find the way to filter the Teams conversation > on when > from which person to person > time and date > :) I simply said to HR sorry guys / Not possible 😁

Is this something you were trying to do in eDiscovery?

@@peterrisingM365🤩Our HR department needs to conduct a highly specific search within Teams to retrieve communications between only two individuals. Despite numerous attempts using standard and premium search functions, we've been unable to refine results to exclusively include these two participants.
We've tried basic searches, which return irrelevant chat messages involving additional parties and experimented with advanced search options using result sets, but consistency remains an issue.🤩 > raised it with Premier support but as you are aware we are not going anywhere with those guys... so I have asked our CSAM to escalate to PG.... the case was opened 16th of April > my Boss is getting super mad 😁

HI there, thank you for this great video !! I'm desperately trying to find where to do a mail redirection, could you help me find it ?
It used to be in the Exchange admin center, under mail flow, rules, bu I now have my rule disabled and it says "the dlp strategies are now in Microsoft purview compliance". Where are those rules exactly I really can t find them...
    Kind regards

Hi, yes it's true that DLP related conditions must now be applied via Purview, but a mail direction is still done from the Exchange Admin Center. Not sure why this would affect your existing rule if it did not relate to DLP though. Have you tried setting up a new rule for the redirection? I just did it myself and it works OK.

Hi Peter! Do you know if there is a way that the user can easily find out what roles is he assigned to? And also from admin perspective - is there one place that shows all the roles of a user?

    • @peterrisingM365
      @peterrisingM365  2 місяці тому +1

Hi, Here are the steps for both users and administrators to find and manage roles in Microsoft Purview:
      For Users:
Sign in to the Microsoft Purview Portal:
Use your credentials to log in to the Microsoft Purview portal.
      Navigate to Roles and Permissions:
In the left-hand menu, select Roles and Permissions.
Here, you will see a list of roles assigned to you, along with the permissions each role grants.
      For Administrators:
Sign in to the Microsoft Purview Portal:
Use your admin credentials to log in to the Microsoft Purview portal.
      Access Roles and Scopes:
Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
      Select Roles and Scopes.
      View and Manage User Roles:
In the Roles and Scopes section, you can view all the roles assigned to any user.
To see the roles of a specific user, search for the user by name or email.
You can also add or modify roles for users from this section.
These steps should help you manage roles effectively in Microsoft Purview.

@@peterrisingM365 I don't know what I am doing wrong, but I just can't find "Roles and Permissions" neither on the left nor right side of the screen. I've also switched between the new and old look and still nothing.
