      +Mudassir Hashmi yes but no as a normal iPhone charger only sends out 1amp. An iPad charger would work great. As it sends out 2.1amp you could use an iPhone charger if you only used 5 windings

    a question that another kind of wire could use to replace that wire.
    I can use a strand of the bicycle brake wire, thank you for sharing that knowledge.

    i was needing something like this. Great!!! But, i have a doubt if i connect it to my cpu's usb adapter will it damage the cpu?or the samsung charger's usb adapter ? will it damage them?if not plzz tell me which will not damage or which will be the best

    Brilliant channel! As far as project ideas, I'd like to see a buzzer/LED alarm for lost RC models that operates on a small, independent power source and can be activated by loss of power to the drone, or by bluetooth transmitter or timer, possibly using cheap solar garden lights as a base.

    you have used an adapter with a maximum output power of 10 watts and it works!!
    I've wasted my money for 4 expensive high-power soldering irons and they were so bad.
    but the one you have made is something esle .

    can also use a paperclip for the center wire and a ballpoint pen tip from a pen which is copper and retains Heat very well and instead of the wire used for a coil you can use a spring out of a spray bottle! won't say where I learned this at but let's just say it works very well! also instead of a USB adapter can you use a 12-volt power output adapter /Supply

      in broken hair drier, bread toaster or maybe cloth iron.. anything heating appliances including microwave oven too i guess.. but just don't play around with microwave if you have no knowledge at all as it still hold very high voltage current even when it is off for years.. just like tv.. its a death trap..!

      Kamran Raja I couldn't find a thin wire too, so I made a 12v soldering iron using a 15cm of 1mm thick nichrome wire from a 750 watt electrical heater.

      Longer it is, the more resistance, therefore the hotter it gets.
