To everyone saying that they should use their best teams should learn how to read video description. The main purpose of this comparison is to see who has better damage output with the set of given teams. It's really helpful for f2ps when knowing which char to pull
To be helpful for F2p they should show where that particular character shines more and which character brings more value to the account , easy to build , team flexibility etc... and moreover if it's dps showcase do it solo then u will get accurate results. Now don't go saying genshin is a team game bruh if it's a team game then use a proper fucking team to showcase... Don't preach shit that doesn't make sense here to look smart.

Honestly, the difference here is so minimal that it's just a matter of who you like more. Sure, Clorinde's potential is far higher as her build isn't perfected in this video, but if Raiden can still clear with minimal issues, just go with who you like~! Both are good. Hell, get both while you're at it.
I use Clorinde with c2 baizhu and damn everything dies pretty fast I can’t even establish the damage output tbh. I do firmly believe that raiden will definitely age better due electro application - battery for the team. Now clorinde is a fantastic Dps. In my opinion I’m starting to appreciate more sub dps / off field as they can offer more damage and longevity for team comps.

She are also f2p-friendly as c0r0 is enough and can be played on a wide range of teamcomps .Besides, support units is more important than dps as they are harder to get powercreep.

Even if this kind of team setup is considered "fair", not changing her teamates build does not favor Raiden because part of her kit revolves around energy generation. C2 Yelan and Furina can dish out sooo much damage (prolly even more than the main carries). Not mentioning her build is overcapping on DMG bonus without sufficient ATK.
Raiden is still far better built than chlorinde here. Also, double hydro is a more popular team for raiden than chlorinde so if anything it's better for raiden. I really hope mihoyo finds some way to buff raiden, maybe like a 25% energy recharge electro resonance or something...
I try Raiden c2 with Nahida c2, Furina c1 and Baihzu c1. Then I replaced Raiden c2 by Clorinde c2. I find Raiden better. For overload team with chevreuse c5, I tried Xiangling and Bennett. Raiden is better because she is the battery of team. So xiangling got her burst every time. With Clorinde, I had to wait until Xiangling was ready.😅
Bruh the build for tazer raiden is different u go atk sands and atk goblet. U keep ER at 220+ cause Engulfing gives 30% extra ER. Even clorinde would use atk goblet cause furina is there and there is no Atk buffer.
you guys need to remember that this abyss give clorinde 20% normal atk damage bonus and consistence shockwaves.. also the team is not the best team for both
I can explain i guess, Raiden needs alot of ER. ER definitely gives big chunk of dmg but i guess not near to atk. Atk always ahead of ER. Clorinde has reaction dmg, if you compare solo raiden with solo clorinde there's no match. Raiden dominates
character comparisons like this have much nuances to it and can not fairly compare. However clorinde dh and raiden dh i feel like is the closest you can compare to the two units. Afterwards you're beginning to compare different teams with units that have different strengths. It is interesting to see that clorinde here has 1500 less rv and not even on her best set. Let the pvp begin
man. both units are fun to play. at AR60, and able to clear Floor 12 every two weeks, i only pull for character with fun gameplay, not damage. which is why i pulled for Clorinde. with Thundering Fury set, she's even more fun to play.

Ребят, интересуюсь со позиции вайфугеймера, который своим вайфам пробивает с6р1: на с6 клоринда ведь в разы сильнее и удобнее с6 райден с точки зрения геймплея? Просто у меня С5Р1 райден, и меня так бесит, что в гиперкерри пачке урон есть только когда произойдет фулл раскаст всех персов, к тому же часто бывает так, что некоторые боссы ломают тебе весь цикл урона, и приходится 20 сек бегать выправлять, ждать кд или фармить энергию. К тому же большая часть урона заложена в одну тычку, и часто бывает оверкилл... в то время как клоринда видится мне как более удобный персонаж, не зависящий от ульты, от хилла, и который баффается такими же удобными персонажами, которые просто скидывают свои ешки. И по констам клоринда вроде как намного сильнее райден, у нее там чистый урон, тогда как у Райден сила останавливается на с3 по сути, дальше растет полезность. Думаю вот может начать крутить клоринду? Все таки топовая мама, но вложенные ресурсы в райден дают сомнения. Райден тоже топовая мама, и не хочется менять шило на мыло

Райден наносит урон далеко не одним нюком ,также она бьет с руки холдами по 70-90к за время стойки,что докинет столько же сколько и начальный удар. 4. У вас не должно быть ситуации,когда требуется добирать энергию на сокомандниках.Значит Райден плохо собрана по ВЭ,да и собственные значения ВЭ для других персонажей никто не отменял. 5.Клоринда с6 сильнее Райден,заметно.

You built Raiden wrong. Atk goblet is better in Furina taser. You're also missing the point that Raiden can lower everyone's energy needs to allow for everyone else to build more of their other stats so if you just take these to account it should be even if not Raiden should be out performing. Raiden will never actually beat a main dps character. It just wouldnt make sense from a character design standpoint. If she deals more damage, deal off field electro, generate energy AND buff burst damage. Why would anyone pull for any other new electro dps?? I wouldnt say its a power creep at all. Since the difference isnt that big. Meanwhile look at mona vs furina. Thats power-creep.

I don’t understand why this comparison is at all, if Ryden is first of all a support and then a secondary damage dealer, as she receives constellations and, first of all, she works for the team, when like Clorinda, initially the main damage dealer and the whole team works for her. After reading a lot of comments and doing a through research of whole situation I came to conclusion that yes, clorinde is infact a better dps than raiden true, but raiden's true potential lays on being "good enough" dps at C2 WHILE maintaining the supportive util of reducing the er need of her teammates which is infact huge cause that will allow units like furina and yelan to make more offensive investment and still be able to maintain 100% uptime on thier burst and damage. I just pulled raiden C3 and have her on catch r5 I had her C2 since the day she released and never regretted it, though some may call me baised but I think C3 is raiden is like owning a C6 character that's why I went for her. If you think I am wrong please do feel free to let me know I like raiden but that doesn't mean I won't admit the others are infact a better dps

The fact Clorinde did better despite him using impale the night to dodge, instead of using it to attack. Impale the night does INSANE damage, but he didn’t use it. And yet, Clorinde STILL did better. I’m sorry Raiden, but you will NEVER recover.
Clorinde has low CV too along with haran (not her Bis) and Gladiator (again not her best set) while Raiden's build at top 2% (255 CV), has her best set EOSF, and Engulfing (her Bis)... I'ts not even Close lol

Well, her c2 doesn't suck, but the rest of her cons definitely do. Kinda waste to even consider getting her over c2, over any other characters' cons or weapons.
What utility is raiden giving anymore? She's not in any team comps unless you don't have more than 3 electro support units. Tighari uses yae. Alhaitham uses kuki. Clorinde uses sara, yae, fischl. Gaming can use kuki in a furina baizhu team. Neuvillette would prefer yae over raiden in the team comps involving dendro and furina such as baizhu. The only one that needs raiden is raiden herself. Now, if we are talking signature, then xiangling needs it to offset her abysmal ER% needs and Mika to help with uptime.

And if you want to argue, just show a video of a c0 raiden team beating a c0 clorinde's speedrun time of top half at 68s, and a higher investment raiden beating a c6 clorinde top half at 19 seconds... Done with every raiden simps calcs and spreadsheet fantasies when none of it is even applicable in real-time.

Clorinde being c2 and did comparably to c2 Raiden is very bad when done with the same teams. C1 clorinde should be a better/higher upgrade over c2 Raiden/C0 Al-Haitham/c6 keqing in their best teams. IMO C0 clorinde aggravate (her highest dps team) should do the same performance like c2 Raiden overload or hypercarry with furina.
All I can say is that, as a new character, C2 Clorinde is indeed slightly stronger than C2 Raiden. However, if you already have C2 Raiden, there's no need to pull for Clorinde unless you love her.

Clorinde doing 10k x6-12 in the span of 1 hit of her gun in quickbloom alone at c0 using the whimsy set and EM sands as is. That's the low end damage and not activating crits. It's already been proven how nuts clorinde really is... people are just hard coping..
true cause clorinde procs fanfare more than raiden. But, clorinde also has a lot of flaws, like she needs a second electro to proc her passive, the RV difference is really big, and not BiS artifacts and weapon.
Also, that's not a bad team for either. It's one of (if not the) best single target team for Raiden. People are still experimenting with Clorinde, but there are impressive speed runs with her in this team.
I tried the same thing: My Raiden C2 (i don't have her signature weapon) , My Clorinde C2 (with her signature weapon), Yelan C1, Furinia C1 and Jean C4. They got closed results but my Raiden was slighty better.

Jean c2 is better than mika since jean can use viridescent and can heal which easily get the stack for furina and mika can't do that so mika isn't basically good at compared to jean.

For set and weapon , both should go with signature ,, i know you want to bring the same supports but chlorinde will proc furina max stacks while raiden wont ,, raiden lack attack so she need attack buffer like benette but clorinde already has the atk buff so she only need elemental buff so she need furina while raiden have already alot of elemental damage so furina will be weak with her but benette will be superior /// yelan will deal higher damage with raiden because of raiden buff but with clorinde will be not good and instead nahida will be perfect for her as provide reactions and EM buff as she deal alot of damage from reactions and will proc nahida skill alot ,,, so at the end : Furina is useless with raiden same as jean but yelan good ,,, for clorinde furina is really good and jean help furina and yelan will be also good , but u put signature for raiden to overcome furina but it wont do it as the haran really powerful for clorinde
Quickbloom clorinde is the better one over aggravate clorinde. Nahida, furina, baizhu. Aggravate Is the weaker option tbh
Even if this kind of team setup is considered "fair", not changing her teamates build does not favor Raiden because part of her kit revolves around energy generation. C2 Yelan and Furina can dish out sooo much damage (prolly even more than the main carries). Not mentioning her build is overcapping on DMG bonus without sufficient ATK.
Raiden is still far better built than chlorinde here. Also, double hydro is a more popular team for raiden than chlorinde so if anything it's better for raiden.
I really hope mihoyo finds some way to buff raiden, maybe like a 25% energy recharge electro resonance or something...

I try Raiden c2 with Nahida c2, Furina c1 and Baihzu c1. Then I replaced Raiden c2 by Clorinde c2. I find Raiden better.
For overload team with chevreuse c5, I tried Xiangling and Bennett. Raiden is better because she is the battery of team. So xiangling got her burst every time. With Clorinde, I had to wait until Xiangling was ready.😅
Bruh the build for tazer raiden is different u go atk sands and atk goblet. U keep ER at 220+ cause Engulfing gives 30% extra ER. Even clorinde would use atk goblet cause furina is there and there is no Atk buffer.

character comparisons like this have much nuances to it and can not fairly compare. However clorinde dh and raiden dh i feel like is the closest you can compare to the two units. Afterwards you're beginning to compare different teams with units that have different strengths. It is interesting to see that clorinde here has 1500 less rv and not even on her best set. Ребят, интересуюсь со позиции вайфугеймера, который своим вайфам пробивает с6р1: на с6 клоринда ведь в разы сильнее и удобнее с6 райден с точки зрения геймплея? Просто у меня С5Р1 райден, и меня так бесит, что в гиперкерри пачке урон есть только когда произойдет фулл раскаст всех персов, к тому же часто бывает так, что некоторые боссы ломают тебе весь цикл урона, и приходится 20 сек бегать выправлять, ждать кд или фармить энергию. К тому же большая часть урона заложена в одну тычку, и часто бывает оверкилл... в то время как клоринда видится мне как более удобный персонаж, не зависящий от ульты, от хилла, и который баффается такими же удобными персонажами, которые просто скидывают свои ешки. И по констам клоринда вроде как намного сильнее райден, у нее там чистый урон, тогда как у Райден сила останавливается на с3 по сути, дальше растет полезность. Думаю вот может начать крутить клоринду? Все таки топовая мама, но вложенные ресурсы в райден дают сомнения. Райден тоже топовая мама, и не хочется менять шило на мыло

3. Райден наносит урон далеко не одним нюком ,также она бьет с руки холдами по 70-90к за время стойки,что докинет столько же сколько и начальный удар.
4. У вас не должно быть ситуации,когда требуется добирать энергию на сокомандниках.Значит Райден плохо собрана по ВЭ,да и собственные значения ВЭ для других персонажей никто не отменял.
5.Клоринда с6 сильнее Райден,заметно.

You built Raiden wrong. Atk goblet is better in Furina taser. You're also missing the point that Raiden can lower everyone's energy needs to allow for everyone else to build more of their other stats so if you just take these to account it should be even if not Raiden should be out performing.

Raiden will never actually beat a main dps character. It just wouldnt make sense from a character design standpoint. If she deals more damage, deal off field electro, generate energy AND buff burst damage. Why would anyone pull for any other new electro dps?? I wouldnt say its a power creep at all. Since the difference isnt that big. Meanwhile look at mona vs furina. Thats power-creep.

After reading a lot of comments and doing a through research of whole situation I came to conclusion that yes, clorinde is infact a better dps than raiden true, but raiden's true potential lays on being "good enough" dps at C2 WHILE maintaining the supportive util of reducing the er need of her teammates which is infact huge cause that will allow units like furina and yelan to make more offensive investment and still be able to maintain 100% uptime on thier burst and damage. I just pulled raiden C3 and have her on catch r5 I had her C2 since the day she released and never regretted it, though some may call me baised but I think C3 is raiden is like owning a C6 character that's why I went for her. If you think I am wrong please do feel free to let me know I like raiden but that doesn't mean I won't admit the others are infact a better dps

it is fair since they are both using the exact same team. This is for consistency's sake to see who has the overall higher damage output, with Clorinde winning. If Raiden had higher crit dmg, it would have been closer, but Clorinde would still win if she had her signature and best set

Neuvillette would prefer yae over raiden in the team comps involving dendro and furina such as baizhu.
The only one that needs raiden is raiden herself. Now, if we are talking signature, then xiangling needs it to offset her abysmal ER% needs and Mika to help with uptime.

Yelan is the best character ever. she is used as sub dps but her dmg alone can outmatch the main dps
Clorinde being c2 and did comparably to c2 Raiden is very bad when done with the same teams.
C1 clorinde should be a better/higher upgrade over c2 Raiden/C0 Al-Haitham/c6 keqing in their best teams.
IMO C0 clorinde aggravate (her highest dps team) should do the same performance like c2 Raiden overload or hypercarry with furina.
A quickbloom whimsy with EM sands is actually the better one with nahida, furina, baizhu over aggravate tbh.

All I can say is that, as a new character, C2 Clorinde is indeed slightly stronger than C2 Raiden. However, if you already have C2 Raiden, there's no need to pull for Clorinde unless you love her.
A quickbloom whimsy with EM sands against the narwhal in its flying phase can be killed by clorinde before it can swallow you at c0 and even more at c1 with furina, nahida, and baizhu. The fact this is c2 is already stronger than raiden who has to absolutely frontload all damage in 1 burst frame. Not to mention trying to clear abyss raiden is slower by all accounts compared to Clorinde.
Clorinde doing 10k x6-12 in the span of 1 hit of her gun in quickbloom alone at c0 using the whimsy set and EM sands as is. That's the low end damage and not activating crits.
It's already been proven how nuts clorinde really is... people are just hard coping..

true cause clorinde procs fanfare more than raiden. But, clorinde also has a lot of flaws, like she needs a second electro to proc her passive, the RV difference is really big, and not BiS artifacts and weapon.

the purpose of this comparison is to see which characters have more personal damage with a set of given characters (from f2p perspective)
Also, that's not a bad team for either. It's one of (if not the) best single target team for Raiden. People are still experimenting with Clorinde, but there are impressive speed runs with her in this team.

I tried the same thing:
My Raiden C2 (i don't have her signature weapon) , My Clorinde C2 (with her signature weapon), Yelan C1, Furinia C1 and Jean C4. They got closed results but my Raiden was slighty better.
The electro team is the worst team for clorinde.

@@nobody-xh6ii I do like using the Team Raiden, Furina, Nahida and Baizhu. The damage of that team is absurd. ( i play a normal Raiden). I do the same time timing with Clorinde too.

Jean c2 is better than mika since jean can use viridescent and can heal which easily get the stack for furina and mika can't do that so mika isn't basically good at compared to jean.

NGL, That C2 Raiden dmg isn't even higher with my C0 Raiden on Overload team XD.
I cleaned it with C0 Raiden on overload, but 6 seconds behind.
