AWESOME video and info! I wish more automotive builders would have a better understanding when seeking sponsorships. It would relieve a lot of frustration due to being brainwashed to get everything for free or feel they deserve product for free or little cost. Fact is, discounts or no cost is an investment towards value and performance. Unfortunately, value and performance are cases by case on each company as product value is so different and possibly what the company is already receiving out of others.
It's like trying out for a sports team. If you try out for a team that doesn't have many next-level players, it will not make much effort to make the team..... But if the team is made up of many top-level players and other top-level players are also trying out, well, you better be on your A-game; otherwise, you will be skipped and not make the team.

I got my 2021 Z71 about a month ago only had 23 miles on it and it’s been in the shop ever since with all the upgrades so far I’m about 25k with wheels, lift, powder coating once it comes out going to do full interior and sound system

@@JWMontoya It is a more professional way of saying. I got a discount but still paid for it. Don't ever say partial sponsorship. Ive worked with many companies for marketing materials. Etc etc. As well as running two family owned businesses.
Your choice of words are CRITICAL.
Very true but you can be an ambassador while being fully sponsored too. The point of this video was to be as transparent as possible and help distinguish the “level” of sponsorships/partnerships.
