No other 12 yr old could have pulled that off. Can you imagine how fricken proud his daddy must be! It's just so awesome to see this take place and for KoRn to have had that much trust in him. Not to mention all the girls that probably threw themselves at him when he got back home from the tour and went back to school. Tye you are already a legend in my eyes kid, you absolutely rock!!!
When he jumped out with the guys and just started windmilling with abandon, I actually yelled in joy. Strangely enough, the first thing that popped into my head wasn't his Legendary father, it was a young Cliff Burton it invoked in my mind. I shed a tear. This kid not only has skills far beyond his years, he has the heart and passion that guys like Cliff and Robert and Jason bring to this music, the stuff that brings us all together in the core of it all. Players like them are why we don't just hear their art, we FEEL it. We are watching a Legend in the making folks.
Korn has had the best taste in emergency bass players. Ryan Martinie of Mudvayne (that guy is a God) and then Tye Trujillo. 12 years old and already playing at a professional level.
