Chunk locked accounts get pretty crazy with keeping up with all the restrictions and requirements to complete a chunk. Let's see how the Karamja master gets through this one
Limpwurt is closer on the map but will likely have to get 99 farming, smithing, runecrafting, prayer, and construction with terrible training methods before reaching volcano. Verf also has a lot of extremely big grinds between him and volcano, like cox, 99 smithing, GWD, and 99 herblore. But once hes done with that it will be fairly smooth sailing (Still a lot of big grinds but he'll have access to decent training methods.) A lot of content between him and the volcano will be impossible to complete since they require quests that have steps in chunks further away than the volcano.
Verf imo. If we look at the map, he is actually a bit closer. Port pisc docks are only 3 chunks away and from there he can access the port sarim chunks which has a ship very close to volcano.
The chunk south of me has puro puro and a knife from mess so I can't avoid it regardless but I do need a way to train crafting first before I can grind out 84. I have a few training methods in mind but it would require more chunks first (cow hides, gems, tanner, furnace + silver).

for example if the cave has some exits like the brutal black dragon exit in the lovakench area ... and excuse me but i dont play osrs i just like to watch people play it. should he include it in the roll after he finishes this chunk? so basically should he include exits that are in a cave?
Judging by the dedication to UIM Karamja, HC UIM and F2P UIM, my man is going to end up unlocking every chunk all the way to Raids, and will get every drop! Love this concept, have seen Limpwurts series. This is a very 'Verf' orientated challenge! Look forward to more :)

Out of all the channels I check for daily yours is the first always entertaining and as someone who plays one account, well I got a f2p hcim on the side but it’s been months.. A pet in your first chunk? Brave! So how are you on unlocking 2 ways shortcuts/travel options. So far none of the lumbridge chunk boiis has for example considered using the kanoo system when unlocking chunks
How about instead of making exceptions for very hard to get items we just go with a more general ruling. Basically we treat monsters as non-chunk specific (unless they can only be found in a specific chunk, like bosses). This means you are not obligated to farm anything from them except when you have unlocked all chunks that contain the monster. So you dont have to farm out a draconic visage until you have unlocked all the chunks that drop rare/unique items like that.
Been doing a little Chaos Ele trying to get the dpick on my UIM and have gotten the pet four times but no pick. It's been discouraging, but watching you get two Rune 2h's, a shield half, and a rune kiteshield from fire giants all before getting the rune scimitar was just the encouragement I needed :P
Rules are too extreme and won't allow for reasonable progression. You should just have to complete the highest skill challenge(not including monster drops), complete any quests, and defeat all the monsters in the area. Very few people will follow this series while you've been tracked in a castle for 6 months grinding totems.
I like the series but also think its a bit much for the first chunk. By the time you get the sarachnis pet and skotos + dark claw, you will probably be close if not already at max combat (not sure about magic as that depends on if you choose to train it rather than just sticking to melee). I would much rather you just go for all reasonable things and then every 5 chunks or so be forced to have at least 1 ultra rare unlock (aka pet) from one of those chunks. I think that would keep the series moving along nicely and not just stuck in 1 chunk forever then blast through 80 chunks till you hit raids or something.
I like everything, but make it so you dobt have to go for pets. It runs all of these types of series and the creators get annoyed and tired of it really quickly. Plus, every episode takes forever to complete. I say dont go for pets and jars. I think you should just go for wearable/useable drops. I've seen another youtuber just go for "best in slot gear". Not for all the drops necessarily
Just an idea, couldn't sit behind the rope at brutal to loose agro then flinch them? Would give access to dragon legs, d spear d med and black hide top/vambs (dragon slayer isn't required to wield)
I want to start a one chunk ironman account, but I will be able to choose which chunk I will unlock, and I plan on implementing a chunk unlock system based on total level, quest points, achievement diaries, boss kills, etc. Still working on the unlock mechanic. I want to be able to unlock the entire map, but just barely.
14:45 I've only used maces up to 40 attack on my new ironman, since I've heard they buffed them to 4-tick speed. They's like half the price of longswords, and now do more DPS. Didn't feel like using scimitars because they're overdone, it was more fun to try new things out in the more dynamic low levels.
I wonder sometimes... When you give a player like verf a bank, does he hoard bc he wants to hold on everything he couldnt normally keep? Or does his bank stay small
Idk why but nothing brings more of a smile to my face than when a snowflake ironman have like, what would literally be trash for another player in there inventory but its not trash, its hype as fuck. seeing someone just getting stuff that really shouldn't matter makes me want to start my own snowflake ironman so I can get hyped about a steel chainbody or a long bone

Well I think Verf could get Chambers of Xeric while Limpwurt could get Tombs of Amascut well before Karamja Volcano

Fair warning: if you get 17 hunter you will need to get 84 crafting for black dhide. As baby implings drop needles. that would be a doozy of a grind

When yous tart mage training, you should look into killing black demons. They have a mage level of 1 and -10 mage defense!

3 chunks east of me has a boat that can sail to port sarim, since I can't go there by feet port sarim will become a roll able chunk
