Good job with this one Donnie. I think I burnt my bridge with Ruko when I refused to make a new video for the Ruko Mini because my Mini had a bad gps module. I didn't want to bother with making an entire new video for a drone that didn't get many views anyway
Yeah, these guys are strict. Make sure you highly show the drone everywhere you go. Lol 😂 You know me, I will tell it like it is. Next video I will let people know. This so far is a nice drone, just way over priced. No one wants to spend that kind of money. No worth the price tag, I say 150 usd would be worth it. Anyways thanks Ryan for commenting, I left the f11 mini in California 🤣 there pissed. Hey I lost my home, last thing I was thinking was storage to get that drone. 😂
@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC lol, yeah they likely won't send you anything else until you get the mini reviewed lol they pulled the flight logs from my mini and determined the gps module was flaky. It kept losing gps lock and would drop to 0 sats lol. I was done with it and didn't want to bother with reviewing a replacement. I never heard from them again after that despite the fact I had reviewed a few drones for them previously. I think they mostly sell SJRC rebrands. I think that's likely that this drone is you are reviewing though I'm not for sure
There SJRC and I still have the pro which is the same just different controller. I need to review from a few years ago
Not a toy drone. It has an impressive and reliable feature set. I own three different Ruko drones, and this one performs as well as my DJI mini 2
I cant get mine to stop drifing all the time. It definitely cant fly and stop/ hover in one spot
My toy drone was 60 bucks from Walmart not 450 from Amazon.

That is awesome!! I just looked at it on Amazon, kind of expensive to be a toy drone! I like that GPS feature where it hovers, that would be nice at deer camp getting shots of camp from the air. I like those features that you showed, the pan around for filming. Thanks for sharing. Juddie

So is it worth buying this upgraded drone if you have the last model? Is it only the controller that is changed?
No, you could search for the controller. It will bind with the f11 pro as well. All that money your better off with a Dji.
Im glad i found this video. I am not a drone expert and i wanted to hover and turn my new f11gim2 like you did in this video. It was in a large repair shop because it was raining out. It was hovering pretty steady until I tried turning it around in place. Well it worked fine outside a few days before (in gps mode). As soon as i started turning today, the heat kicked on in the shop and the drone went sideways into the auto lift and crashed. I tried it again thinking the heater vents blowing pushed it and i had to swat it this time so it didn't hit a car inside (the blades got me good). I purposely switched to camera mode before flying, to slow it down indoors. Live and learn, thanks for the info 👍.
Oh man, hopefully you’re able to return it. Thanks so much for watching. I been very ill and it’s been raining here, I haven’t gotten to really test it out. I only have some of the older models and I enjoyed them. Just the price is way too high at the for the average income.

Where did you get your adapter for charging? They seem very particular on what you should use to charge it.
I use my apple block charger, I didn’t have it in the video I think. But apple I use for anything I need a charge block. .
It's a fun drone I never used the features so it will be fun to see nice unbox and setup 😉👍

I know that DJI owns the Roku and Holy Stone brands but the RC controller on that Roku is identical to my RC controller on my HS 360s. Almost makes me think they had a hand in helping with the RC controller. Nah probably not.
Great video, can you unplug the cable from the controller in order to plug in a longer c-usb cable to be able to use a tablet?
Yes. I had to do that. The cord that comes with it is about 4cm too short.
Any idea why the phone needs Bluetooth and Wifi enabled for this? Perhaps that's a Ruko thing. I have an SJRC F22S with the same transmitter and these both use the cable for the transmitter to phone connection so no Wifi or Bluetooth should be needed to the phone. I am using Android and its never asked me for Wifi or Bluetooth to fly.
I thought that was strange, never been asked Bluetooth since the parrot bebop😂

I’m having trouble finding the serial number as well as the remote ID number. Do you know where this can be found. The SN under the drone doesn’t match any SN found on the FAA UAS DOC. Any idea?
At the bottom outside of the drone. It’s small and printed on the heat grill on the belly of the drone.
That number is just the regular serial number. If you try to register it with the FAA using that number under standard remote ID it is not a valid number. I contacted Ruko customer service and was told they would have to get the remote ID serial number from the manager and get back to me with it. That was 21 days ago and i still have not heard back from them. Sending it back because i am not trying to have to buy a 150-250 dollar add on remote ID unit.

Having a real hard time getting Bluetooth to connect.
Total noob here. When I land my GIM2 the propellers will not stop....I have to turn off the battery. Many of these tutorials skip so many steps.

YEP. So did I. DJI mini 3 pro. But I still love flying my HS drones and my HS 360s has the exact same RC controller as this drone. And this drone looks just like the HS 600 that's on the way lol.
