All-being-well for next season I'll be going to Austria for the 2026 season, and going by this video it'll probably be Mayrhofen, as I'll have moved away from beginner by then, as even now I'm starting to get the knack of parallel. Also just got to get a 'Sunday best' ski jacket to complete my holiday clothes. Note: Nearly every skier in the video is in black and dark red, or brown, and not yellow or bright blue.
This resort has plenty of good blues and reds with some challenging blacks, so I think it should be good for whatever level you're at... Glad you are making good progress... keep it up!
Now that is a couple of flat light runs. On best quality I couldn't read the snow, and it was really scratchy even at a substantial altitude. One time when I complained about the icy snow quality to a lift attendant he said, "It's white, isn't it?"
Ha, yeah... what you see on the video is pretty much what I see when skiing, my eye sight isn't the best so I hope there are no surprises. I prefer sunny days so I can read the snow and see the contours :-)
