I'm a CB350 owner Yes, this is unbiased opinion. You need to shift between 3&4 gears to generate that extra power. Overall you won't disappoint buying CB350 that's guaranteed
Good review, But I have no regrets buying the cb350. The power on each gear needs getting used to, lot of thought has been put into designing it, based on Indian conditions. Within the city its only 2nd and 3rd gear that is used mostly. It has the power whenever required. Jai Hind.
Each machine is designed for keeping many things in mind. Honda is a very experienced company who have been making CB series of motorcycles since ages. They are out to create a good lineup of bikes under 500 cc category and CB 350 is a good start. For all those using this bike for daily commute or even few cool rides, it is a refined machine. In reality you don't have to think about regretting your decision. I am using 3 bikes at present as they all are so different. So feel absolutely happy for your decision and enjoy the H'ness.
No, mostly it will be CB 350 based Cafe Racer and CB500 single cylinder kind of models. Exactly same type of models what we see with the Indian KTM lineup. That's the only way to save manufacturing cost.
Yeah exactly to your point a hand has just 5fingers and not 100. When you are able to push till 120in 4th and slowly push to its maximum limit in 5 why do you need 6?. Even with 6th gear the bike can't go beyond it
Yes, Fifth gear is overdrive. Buy why ??? 4th gear at 80+ lacks smoothness and vibrations come. Only if the 5th gear had enough torque, then 100 kph or 100+ kph drives would have been much smoother and hassle free. Also overtakes are very bad on 5th gear. Badly done 5th gear is the only con in this bike. Utterly Disappointed. P.S. : I am an experienced rider with an aggressive driving style.
Alright it been three years and we see no engine upgrade to CB350RS, now, I really want to understand what you meant by Highness having oil cooling ports, can we leverage that to upgrade the same engine to have oil cooler?
You have to be in the very right gear. It's a tight spot but once you are there the bike pulls crazy❤. But being in that spot all the time is difficult. Atleast that's what I felt. I might be wrong as well
I use a mix of Hero GoPro and Canon. Honda CB 350 has enough of torque in 2nd and the 3rd gear. I don't think you have to do anything special on this machine as it is designed in that fashion.
This is exactly what gives me doubts on buying this. Gear shifting isn't the issue for me, the lack of pulling lower down is! I love torqy bikes. Especially in the lower and mid range. Highness doesn't impress me there. Plus buying a 350 means we primarily focus on the torque that is being offered (mostly) but this kind of disappoints there with the sluggish feel, I'm not a slow or laid back type of rider. I love to rev, feel the bike and enjoy the ride with an adrenaline punch (not rash negligent riding 🤗😇) Now my doubt is, should I buy the gixxer SF 250 or this? I love initial pulling....flickability and cornering. But somewhere in my heart I have a crush for classic retros too. .Help me brother 😥
@Dr Mech I should. Once the funds are set. Still then I could only wonder 😂. Thank you for the input. Heard many talking about the low pull in low end with pillion or on an incline road. That made me worry a bit, why spend money on a 350 if it can just act better than a 150 😶
Now that it is here..the CB350 RS...any comments/video inputs on the same please...I always wanted a "THAT RED HONDA BIKE" ..🤔maybe this is it..and so.. seeking your opinion Sir
Your term, front cover is not clear? The unit looking like radiator is an engine oil cooler as fitted in Jawa. It is just for the reference shown like that.
Well Honda may be looking at above litre class and below 300/350 cc class bikes in India. But if it does, it's 500 cc platform and specially the CB500X will be a hoot to ride!
As per the inputs, they have two types of Big Wing lineup, one dealing upto 500 cc and others beyond 500 cc. However looking at Indian market, they will be keen to push segment upto 500 cc as that's a huge market for India.
I was thinking the same . -1 front sprocket wil do the job for sure If not 100%. Don't know what's the size of chain sprocket ? If it's 15T front then chances are high that it might match CBR 250R front 14T sprocket.
If you are a cool rider and happy below 100 kmph, test ride this machine to see if it meets your requirements. A lot depends on what type of riding you do. For daily commmuting it is a great bike.
I want to use a bike which will do long rides mostly and city rides less. Already test ride Meteor and feels good. Highness is still not here in Kolkata. So I'm bit confused.
Hi sir..my huge respect towards your work.. looking forward for this channel to grow 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🎉.... Pls give me your opinion... I am currently in love with RR310 and Duke 390... Would love to pick one of these two... I understand for solo touring RR310 is good... Considering the comfort and mileage.. but since I am newly married pillion comfort is kinda important to me as well.... Of the two bikes which one is manageable for a short pillion (5.2")... For tours less than 200km....
I don't think RR310 is a motorcycle on which any pillion will be comfortable. Duke390 is again not a great motorcycle for pillion but still better as compared to RR310. Infact you must ask pillion rider to sit and have a feel of the motorcycle before you buy.
Fuel mileage depends on the way you ride, means aggressive, gentle or mixed. Third gear of CB350 is quite interesting as it will take care of majority of riding. So if you ride in 3rd gear the way we generally ride in city at slow pace, it should not matter much.
@@baskar.s7399 you can also use the real time milege to check the mileage given by throttle input and gearing. And yes like wings of wheels mentioned 3rd is best. For mileage 1st and 2nd drains crazy.

As Bullu once said, it has no soul, this bike. Honda copied the Enfield sound and also messed up the gearing
Appreciate your honest opinion and superb explanation.
Why I had not seen your video till now? So unique ..nobody has covered these points ....thanks subscribed

Quite considered and and analytical review .... commendable effort...please compare Highness with Meteor...

Very good analysis...
No signs of CB 500 launching in 2022 also...?
I am eagerly waiting for Honda CB500 cc engine . if it launched in the market I will be the first one to go and book it 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🙏🙏🙏🙏
I hope that Honda does a CB 450 or a CB500 and sells them in the U.S.

Fifth gear is overdrive. You do not need 150 gears on a motorcycle with 20-30 BPH.
A hand has 5 fingers and each do something special. I feel one has to ride CB350 to understand what I am saying.
