- Angling Times Tackle Editor Mark Sawyer takes a thorough look at two new Shimano Aero margin poles - the Aero Power Margin and Aero Pro Margin.

Just got one, used a couple of times. Awesome pole. Takes me about 4 minutes to fit a Preston Pulla Bush. So not a deal breaker for me, and you can choose what to use, the finish on the joints is awesome, as is the Ultra Sand finish
Got the original Shimano margin pole had it years still a good pole had lots of fish on it upto 15 lb.but the new one looks just as good
Looks like an excellent product. Those platforms you are on could be very dangerous if the undercutting of the bank continues…..
Preston 10m edge monster is all you need!£229.
Cracking pole, the 10M pole is often on offer for less than £200. I had one, but didn’t really like pole fishing, so sold it… I do wonder if I was too hasty though 😂
@@AdamWRides Seen them for as little as £189 if in stock.Nice bag included too.
What landing net head are you using
It will have to go some to beat the original beastmaster margin pole
Just buy the pro margin 11.5 for all the pole you will ever need
Come on shimano,no side pulls fitted,that's awful😮
Takes 5 mins to fit one, I'm not convinced with heavy elastic that you need side pullas. Hardly going to strip out an 18-20 are you ? Preston pulla bungs would suffice.
I prefer to get poles without side pulla as then you can choose which to put in and most tackle shops will fit them anyway
Who wants to drill holes in their new pole ? Would cost pence to supply ready fitted . It’s a 👎🏻from me .
How do you think the companies fit side pullas ? By drilling holes
I would rather put my choice of puller in then they put a crap one in like my old browning
Everywhere seems to have no stock!
No cupping kit.......🤷♂️ 🤔 🤔
