I subscribed bro, this video hit me personally, I felt the energy in your words.....I agree with you 100%. I feel they don't care about the smaller UA-camr channels. And I feel sometimes that they just spin a bottle up in YT head office and wherever that bottle stops, that channel will receive royalties whether be in the form of exposure, views or increased ad pay.
I mean, I've given up on UA-cam levelling the playing fields, given us smaller channels a chance to grow and eat at the same time! My greatest asset at this point and time as a content creator is that Naruto spirit that I have burning deep inside me, which is never to give up, and just hold my position until I see an opportunity or until one is given....Whose going to crack first, me or the YT algorithm?...I guess only time will tell bro.

UA-cam shorts does't not pay at all. It was invented to compete with TikTok and syphon their viewers. The best and most productive way for a content creator to make money is by focusing specifically on Long form content. And this has become a big problem for content creator, nowadays everyone wants to do shorts.
