I did family dollar out of the dc in Rome NY for about a month. Brutal, bro. Usually 3-4 stops. Propping up rollers on totes just like that. We made 46 cents a mile and $120 to unload the trailer. The only difference I see at all is family dollar loaded their trailers incredibly. Always front to back, packed tight. 800-1200 pieces usually. Seen 600 and seen 1400 once. Like three loads a week. Bro! I couldn’t hang. I had to get back on north east regional. That about killed me for real. Watching this video brought back nightmares. What you didn’t show was all the messed up places you have to position that trailer, and those miserable workers that hate seeing you show up. Aligning your rollers to attach to their funky 90 degree bend that never works! Boxes just falling everywhere. All the standing waiting for these people to to pull the boxes off their end. Nightmare bro!
Bro u could not have said this any better. This is a fact everything that u said is 💯 right. I’ll most differently show that part soon trust me. They don’t understand they shit we have to go thru doing this. And the pay is ass. And they expect the world from u on this bullshit
@@twt7186 I met a trainer that pulled down 5 loads a week. Think about that! It inspired me to stay with it another two weeks thinking maybe I could get used to it. I had a big boy trainee weighed like 450 the last week of it. He didn’t throw any freight lmao! He couldn’t barely get in the top bunk. I’m a hit that subscribe my man. Glad you came across my recommendations. 🤟
I appreciate you 💯🙏🏾. And most deff men this account isn’t for everyone. And I’m use to this and it’s not hard anymore. But it’s not something I wanna do this is honestly it pays the bills. And when my time come I’ll move on.
Where do you get the rails? Does the store provide them or do you get them from the distribution center? And do they also provide those crates so you can put the rails on top of?
Yeah you u load. It’s a touch freight account. U unload the trailer by putting the boxes in the rollers like in the video and the employee take ‘em off
@@Jake_Moore_ I’m the one who record the videos myself. That one clip I’m in the trailer someone recorded that part but everything else and all my videos I record myself.
Not worth it brother, touch free is the best account 👌 💯. You'll make a lot more money in small companies, not the mega carriers. You don't have to kill yourself to get the experience, you can get experience with less physical work,, and more money. Good luck
Personally, it is just me, but watching the man fingerprint every single piece of 3000 pieces is painful. J.B. doesn't have enough money to do that 5 days a week................................
Not bad. Now I know how to pre-trip. 💯 Thanks man.
Honestly I will do a video on a full pre trip on the truck and the trailer. Because I know I didn’t show as much as I normally do
@@twt7186 Okay. Sounds good.
Te quedó de show!

The pay I told you was back in 06. And I might be remembering it wrong. Maybe 79 cents with 140$ unload? Regardless I wasn’t getting rich lol.

Bro they make you unload the truck too that’s crazy damn You get paid additional for unloading the truck
Na you get paid $300 a trailer and 0.90 cents per mile .
All trailers are alway preloaded??

@@twt7186 Thanks brother I appreciate your new subscriber here keep them Videos coming
🙏🏾💯💪🏾 I appreciate you bro 😎 and you already know 💪🏾
More power to you my guy.
Thank you I appreciate it 💯💪🏾
Is each truck one store’s merchandise? Unload the entire truck for one store or multiple from one?
So how can u tell when ur done unloading for that store
Man I hear if your on a Dollar Tree account you have to hand jive or live unload yourself all the product??
Yeah men u have to. U seen my decent video on it
All dollar stores trailers could be some much easier on the drivers but they willnt and big boss willnt listen to truck drivers at all
Exactly they won’t listen and will not take the suggestion on how the boxes should be stacked on pallets
Where do you get the rails? Does the store provide them or do you get them from the distribution center? And do they also provide those crates so you can put the rails on top of?
Yes the DC provide you with everything that u need for the job. Crates rollers and the rope.
Wait so you have to unload the trailer? I thought they do it?

@@twt7186 Okay. I get now.
Lol if you like sleeping this job isn't for you 🙃 ohhhh haha
Most deliveries are @ 5:00am and I’ve had one store where we start @ 3:00am.
Most definitely nd stores don’t get that to like we sleep over night
