- I've waited a long time but never pulled the trigger on this hood. Since my previous hood was damaged and Subaru is on backorder, I figured it was the perfect time. The hood came in perfect without a single flaw. The fitment was ridiculous though. For something so expensive, I think it should have been way easier. Nothing I couldn't figure out, but having to re-drill holes seemed very unnecessary. Hope you enjoy the edit!!

Hopefully it comes in soon. I waited from February till July for chargespeed bumper.

Thanks a lot. It was as simple as taking out the old push clips and putting them on the new hood. Took me about 5 minutes.
Wow ! I got the exact one fitment was 99.9 %, almost perfect! Looks awesome! I did all the installation by myself and with two pillows! Wonder if your issues had anything to do with the accident?
The pillows are actually a really good idea. I'll remember that if I need to do any more adjusting later on. I thought the accident may have had something to do with it as well but after going back over all the bumper frame parts I didn't notice anything that would be causing an issue. The only thing I can think of is the new bumper sits differently and once the top rail is bolted down it pushes the mount in. I messed with it a little more after the video and it's pretty much good now.

Oh I've had some really random ways of doing things when I'm by myself. Pillows are just another to add to the list.
I hope you clearcoated it yourself, these things doing come with a good one and they fade in like 2 years.
How long did it take for you to get this hood? My OEM was damaged beyond repair by hail
It took about 3.5 weeks from being an in stock item. I ordered it from jdmuscle. They did a fantastic job packaging it.
Would this same hood fit on 2017 sti?
