Hey man, really enjoyed the video, was a pretty recap of what happened while I was not in the scene. As for the developers not listening to the community, the community hasn’t exactly done the best job on providing feedback for the devs to go off of. Obviously an Anti-cheat is very key for establishing integrity in a competitive scene but I can guarantee you once CF really gets on top of it, the game will start progressing exponentially. I play C-OPS even with all the hackers (surprisingly I haven’t seen any in ranked as of now) because I genuinely enjoy the game and it’s fresh unlike CODM. Obviously a lot of accurate information with the competitive scene portions, thanks for informing people like me. Like you said we as a community need to be less toxic; its the only way to progress the game to where it could be. Good video bro.
Have to agree with your take on the ''devs don't listen'. They 100% do and it's a shame Juice has put such a bad light on great people that keep improving the game as of today.

Found this Video randomly while researching something else and thought I'd give it a watch. One of the very few "tHiS iS tHe HiStOrY oF C-oPs" videos that are made by people who actually were there and that are largely factually accurate, so amazing job on that.. One of the things I'd have added was how gameplay has changed during the downfall, because to me personally, it was a considerable part in the whole thing (I assume it is one of the things you meant at 3:46), arguably the it even set all of the other stuff in motion. You sort of brushed over it towards the end, but I think the 1 reason why the hope is not realistic at the moment is, that the current community is close to impossible to work with. Basically, what comes around goes around. Back in the day, there were a ton of smart people in the community and their feedback could probably have prevented the downfall. Devs unfortunately did not listen, as their egos were to big to take advice from literal kids. Now, there are tons of smart people in the dev team, and they could probably prevent the further and incoming downfall. The community unfortunately is in no way open for change, as they have built an ego over being the few semi competent remains of a comparably dead scene. No proper org would go through the effort and the potential financial and image backlash for the very little benefit the game currently brings to a brand that is already established. I am sure that a ton of people were helped by this video and I am happy to see that there is still some quality content left in this game if you bother to dig down far enough.

I also noticed that the clever and helmat update also reduced alot of players. I think its bcs the game is based off of luck these days.who ever shot first would get the kill. Its sad really sad i have been playing this game for 5 years and it is dieing in front of my eyes. I remember when thr lobbies were always full and hackers were funny to watch. Now its just toxic mfs everywhere. I hope this game revives i really have hope with the new pass system.
As a member of the critical ops community since 2017, I can humbly say that critical force fucked up their own game like every other company, it’s all due to being too greedy and money minded
I said the devs were a part of the downfall of the comp scene which is 100% true. However they did an amazing job with the game in terms of gameplay and causal scene. And now they have come back to help the comp scene, but I can’t hide the truth that they forgot the comp scene in 2019 and it led to a downfall
I gave up on rank in 2018/2019 I was n1 on the leaderboards for nearly a year and could’ve progressed further but i was more focused on the T1 scene and possibly joining IFL but you already know what happened ;-;
So basically hackers were the problem. shows how incompetent the anti-cheat is and still is today. If they tried to improve anti-cheat. maybe we will see the critical ops back to where it was again
It was relatively speaking but that tourney really was the start of the new era. It was the second tourney back from the actual dead period which was like kid 2019. The end of 2019 forward, the game really came back strong so I’d consider when dyg won the start of the new era therefore
It's a great game, however I enjoy Standoff 2 alot more, it plays smoother is faster an has market place for guns an there just seems to be more love by the devs
3:203:50 What do you mean by devs don’t listen? I feel like the community itself is too childish to where devs can’t listen, because everyone is so damn toxic. The only thing they say is “fix anti cheat pls” etc. That’s it. There are numerous things that you said that were wrong with this video and made literally no sense. Maybe you can improve it on the next one, because in my opinion you dodged a lot of important factors.
Well I can say back in 2017-2018 the pros were nothing like the toxic new pros r nowadays. The game failed to keep those older pros for various reason one of them being partially the devs fault. A lack of support to that comp scene. Now the current comp scene is very toxic and tries to hack. They lost the old comp scene and that’s why there was a downfall. So u can’t blame the toxic community without putting part of the blame on the people running it. It’s like saying a McDonald’s is bad. It’s no the people who r there buying the food. It’s probably the people managing it
You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes with developers or just how they are combatting this issue as we speak. Again, speak for yourself. And if you want to talk to the developers, then talk to them?

Its sad really sad i have been playing this game for 5 years and it is dieing in front of my eyes. I remember when thr lobbies were always full and hackers were funny to watch. Now its just toxic mfs everywhere. I hope this game revives i really have hope with the new pass system.
I miss it
As a member of the critical ops community since 2017, I can humbly say that critical force fucked up their own game like every other company, it’s all due to being too greedy and money minded
We got agents now 😃🔫
What a video bro
Thanks
It's wise to listen to it B)
:)
and the remaining devs are also toxic so yeah thats also not making it better
First time I played it was from facebook xD
Haha that’s funny 🙏
The main reason is Just Rise of better games Like Pubg , Cod , FreeFire....
Not better but games that have more money behind them*
i will say one thing. The way you all criticize the devs, cheer em up in the same way damnit.
I said the devs were a part of the downfall of the comp scene which is 100% true. However they did an amazing job with the game in terms of gameplay and causal scene. And now they have come back to help the comp scene, but I can’t hide the truth that they forgot the comp scene in 2019 and it led to a downfall
@@LegendJuice Mhm
@@LegendJuice my comment is towards the kids who just knows how to pick of the devs and are always unsatisfied no matter what.
Devs didn’t care about the game or community all they care about its money
the game play was better and its feels more random now
2024 anyone? 😢
❤️
Rip critical ops 😭
Not for mobile only for tablet thy why I left critical ops . But I love critical ops
It is mobile only
you can play it on mobile wym
U dint mention abt matchmaking tho, it sucks
MM isn’t really something that killed the game. It’s the hackers in MM
I gave up on rank in 2018/2019 I was n1 on the leaderboards for nearly a year and could’ve progressed further but i was more focused on the T1 scene and possibly joining IFL but you already know what happened ;-;
@@OsyntOfficial yes
So basically hackers were the problem. shows how incompetent the anti-cheat is and still is today. If they tried to improve anti-cheat. maybe we will see the critical ops back to where it was again
I think The game was dead when DYG won
It was relatively speaking but that tourney really was the start of the new era. It was the second tourney back from the actual dead period which was like kid 2019. The end of 2019 forward, the game really came back strong so I’d consider when dyg won the start of the new era therefore
Fun fact, i started playing in 2019 :)) it's my fault i guess
It’s still the best mobile game ever
Yeah
No it ain’t
@@larrbear2100 yes it is
c ops will be the best don’t listen to haters bc they just give hate.
Yes
It's a great game, however I enjoy Standoff 2 alot more, it plays smoother is faster an has market place for guns an there just seems to be more love by the devs
alr im gonna sub
well sometimes the truth hurts:/
toxic community, hackers/cheaters and etcetera
3:20 3:50
What do you mean by devs don’t listen? I feel like the community itself is too childish to where devs can’t listen, because everyone is so damn toxic. The only thing they say is “fix anti cheat pls” etc. That’s it.
There are numerous things that you said that were wrong with this video and made literally no sense. Maybe you can improve it on the next one, because in my opinion you dodged a lot of important factors.
So u want hackers to dominate in the game?
Well I can say back in 2017-2018 the pros were nothing like the toxic new pros r nowadays. The game failed to keep those older pros for various reason one of them being partially the devs fault. A lack of support to that comp scene. Now the current comp scene is very toxic and tries to hack. They lost the old comp scene and that’s why there was a downfall. So u can’t blame the toxic community without putting part of the blame on the people running it. It’s like saying a McDonald’s is bad. It’s no the people who r there buying the food. It’s probably the people managing it
There is always one constant in c-ops: hackers.
The game never failed to keep “pros”, We reached like 100+ downloads this year. Idk about you, but that’s succes for this game.
You have no idea what is going on behind the scenes with developers or just how they are combatting this issue as we speak. Again, speak for yourself. And if you want to talk to the developers, then talk to them?
nice!
Thanks vapeypoo! 🙏
We can all agree that gameplay-wise new-gen c ops is better than old c ops movement aiming mechanics and other such things were dogshit
True. But old comp scene was better
Indeed mate that will never change UNLESS cfe does something to make current comp scene better@@LegendJuice
rip
fun if u could play it on pc
;(
