- Unboxing Daiwa Silver Wolf SV TW1000 XHL PE Special Finesse Baitcasting Reel. This is used for chining or Japanese Porgies and this reel is supposed to be able to cast 3.5 to 28 grams on either 0.6 or 0.8 gou PE line! How? Likely because its sporting it's most advance SV BOOST braking system! Bearings in this reel are MAGSEALED so it's going to be an epic saltwater fishing reel!

I bought mine a year ago and it is like a even better version of the zillion... 💫🤩🤩🤩
Right? Where have this been all my life lol. I got the long cast Roro spool for the zillion and I'm like... Dude.. Let me go buy the slp spool now haha...
The Silver wolf is one bad ass reel. It was originally made for fishing black bream in Australia. With a regular Zillion spool on it it'll spool you almost every time it casts so far. Probably my favorite reel.
This is definitely amazing. Not sure how far I can cast with a 12 gram lure. I got a long ass rod waiting for some fun woot!
What benefit does one get picking up a Silver Wolf reel ane put in a Zillion 1000 spool rather than go with the Zillion 1000 all along? Color? Faster level winder?
never heard of this reel till now very cool. im going to have to look into buying one of these in the future
It's an awesome JDM reel
@@rawrfishing watching your videos about bfs saltwater fishing and seeing your review on the cashion icon salty ned rod inspired me to give saltwater bfs a try. i got that rod paired up with a curado bfs and landed one sea robin and then a nice bluefish. opend a whole new world to me! thanks for the great content
It's new to mee too and wow. I'm really addicted lol. I am going less fishing so I can allocate more time to travel to the shore...
I wish I had this last week when I was fishing in gulf shore, would’ve definitely helped reach farther distances instead of my Gekkabijin. Great video jimbo, once the right handle drops again it may be worth the buy.
Thx man. I come to realize that as much as I like bfs... It's not that useful for some of my fishery via the smaller spools. I throw light lures around 4 gram range anyway. Been loving my zephyr and loongze airlite, so I was like.. Time to step up with a size 34mm spool lol... This could be my fluke slaying reel!
Oh check the link in the desc.. It's ready to buy!
Looks like a great reel for you. The hard to turn drag wheel I believe you will like it because with it that way, you will not accidentally move it when you are palming the reel when you are fighting a big fish. Fantastic unboxing review. I'm really looking forward to the fish catching with it. Be blessed. My friend.
Sometimes I feel that the small bfs reels, we can hit the drag star easily for sure with all the moving around. And usually, it does change the drag lol. This reel casts wonderfully. Casted it the other day at the pond to explore the brakes! Loving it
Damn it your blowing up my reel that is under the radar 😂😂 just kidding jimbo. You will love it !! It’s basically a murdered out zillion on crack. Such a sick reel 🔥🔥🔨🔨🔨 mine also came with a SLP mag z boost spool
Thats the best way to show Daiwa love is to show off their good reels ;). Only way to show who's king!
@@rawrfishing yes sir keep doing what your doing. The information you provide for everyone is truly a blessing. Thank you for always putting out amazing content.
U bet dude! As always, Thanks for watching and chiming in!
Heard about this reel - pretty sick
Nice! Anything bad? Or is it all good stuff?
@@rawrfishing all good stuff, basically everyone who's had it says it's a zillion on crack. If only they made an alphas framed reel with those tolerances..
It's definitely smooth feeling
Is the spool you are talking about from SLP the 1012 SV spool G1? I have that spool on my Zillion and recommend you get it and do a video. It's an awesome spool for braid.👍🏼
Potentially, the page didn't show the ID number. But honestly... We saw slp in the box... I have feeling this spool is from the slp lol.. But sounds good!
Stil waiting for mine 🤩🤩🤩
Did u get yours on Amazon when I first linked it on the community tab?
@@rawrfishing they dont deliver to Belgium
@@denniswillems6083 ahh, darn it. But hope u get yours soon!
@@rawrfishing i think next week
cool! it's gonna be lit! this thing launched a 5 gram lure at very decent distance with wind and all!
how would this reel pair with a 6’8” cashion icon medium light for top water finesse and weighted T rigs in freshwater for bass?
Looks like someone is more excited than me lol. I got this reel yesterday. Have not taken it out. But I have on my Cashion icon salt finesse ML rod right now! 7'2" rated down to 1/8th Oz. But unfortunately I wasn't able to make it out this morning for fishing... So I may end up just cast testing it later today after some matters gets resolved...
I use the 8ft elf ajing in salt with .08. no issues
More experienced anglers are usually good! How heavy of a lure are you casting and how hard?
I haven’t had any problems with back lashing and breaking off with .6 gou PE. I have had a bad backlash or two but on 1.8-3 grams but nothing has broken off
That's very light my friend. Try 28 grams 0.6 gou haha... But most ppl who I spoken with would fish around 5 grams and up that snapped on longer rods.
@@rawrfishing yeah my rod is like 5 feet long so I’m not worried about snapping I just thought it was crazy to snap braid so easy.
oh it's not hard to snap 0.6 gou. Done it plenty of times. I was throwing a 7g lure on a 7'11" L power rod. backlash SNAPPPPSSS bye bye baby giron... luckily.. the PE line was floating and I casted my chatterbait flashback mini back for it!!!!
@@rawrfishing that’s sick
Will that spool fit into the Zillion, Jimmy?
@@danspanos yes but u can't buy this spool easily.. But, you can buy the slp one. Which should be the same thing. I got one ordered to look at and try on my zillion so stay tuned
What rod you will be pairing this with?
I will be using many rods! First one... Cashion Salt Finesse ML 7'2" ML rod rated down to 1/8th oz
Then i'll try the Tsurinoya Fox Hunting C711L, then the Fox Hunting ML rod.. forgot what length is that. but it's a powerful rod lol.
