@@otherside_ofqila for mine its very obvious, the box is in really bad shape and is really dented (its also flimsy cardboard) , and the army bomb didnt have a sticker on it and has some scratches on it and weird white marks, it also has the little plastic bits inside but theyre all stuck and it makes no sound when I shake it. The best way to tell though is where you got it from, places like btsmaniashop arent trustworthy and sell fakes, but weverseshop, cokodive and kpoptown are all legit and sell official merch. Also if it was outrageously expensive its a bad sign. I hope thats helpful!

It happens in every industry, also there’s fake light sticks for multiple Kpop groups not just BTS.
But usually you can tell when they are fake because there are obvious differences but it’s concerning when they are really close to the original.

So it's not really fair to people who buy the fake one thinking it's real and when they get to the concert their lightsticks dont work and they've already spent $20-30 on it so fake stuff like this gets me mad (when they dont advertise that it's a fake lightstick, if they're advertising that it's fake then it's alright because at least everyone knows what they're buying)
