Very nice footage Jesse, if you or any of your friends are certified on this or other types of ambulatory aircraft, there may be some there in your area which are basically not privately owned with their own private pilots, because in the states, some air services will except volunteer certified pilots to transport patients or donated organs that are time sensitive and you can log some free hours and experience and it will only cost you your personal time, they provide the plane, fuel, usually per diems for meals, and lodging if needed
Those Geese must have thought it was 'Animal Park' !!....or they wanted complete control of the runway for their takeoffs..lol. Regarding the tripod....your footage was excellent...no worries. It takes time and a very steady hand to get it right...we are always learning especially when we are using a new toy. The King Airs looked very smart...good effort..well done..Steve.
Thanks a lot for the nice comment, Steve! I'm hoping I'll be able to smooth out the tripod use a bit and work on what I'm actually aiming at as well lol.
lol, JLK chasing geese, I'm going to have to bug them about that the nest time they come up here. Nice clip of KTE's departure, don't see them as much as JLK. When did you shoot these?
Ya, it's always amusing to see the King Air being used to chase away the geese. I've seen the medevac pilots doing that a few times here. There was actually a bird strike here about a month ago. A King Air operated by a company in Saskatchewan struck a goose or two. I got there a few minutes after it happened and didn't get any footage of it. The clip of JLK was taken yesterday and KTE was taken on May 3rd.
We had a Jazz Dash 8 hit three geese while landing a couple of years ago, it happened just as we were flying out to the airport too, so Rupert Radio had our pilots fly the length of the runway to find and count the birds, we found them.....it wasn't pretty. They ended up keeping the -8 on the ground and flew a replacement a/c up with a maintenance crew, it was here for at least 2 days before it went south again.
Nice geese. Are these Canada geese aren't they? I wonder if they crash into a plane though one day. Have you ever heard about such incident at this airport? Thanks nice video as always.
Thanks. You, you are right, they are Canadian Geese. Actually about a week before I took this video a different King Air that was taking off hit two geese and had to abort its take off. Luckily the aircraft and all those onboard were alright.
oh my Jesus I am glad that nothing has happened to the pilot and that the plane is not damaged to heavily. Nothing can be done about it right?. Using a bird gun to scary them away doesn't seem to be effective right? Because they would come back again ain't that true?
Andreas Hoppe Sometimes they do use bird bangers if there is any staff at the airport. Otherwise the pilots sometimes try to chase the geese away while they are taxiing out. They always seem to come back though, they are very hard to control.
I've always liked the look and style of the Beech King Air 200 Series.
I think this is a 350i
A very impressive aircraft! Splendid video as always! Nicely done! Also cool to see all those geese in the grass! :P
Thanks for watching! The geese really love it here :-)

A couple trained hawks could get those geese out of there :)
That would actually be a really interesting option, I'm sure it would be very effective as well!
