Glad they seem to respect him now...in England. Per Mertesacker....World Cup winner in freaking Brazil. Just think about THAT. He was part of a Team that won a World Cup trophy in freaking a South American country....
I love the BFG and I think Arsenal are a better team with him in the side, but the fact remains Arsenal should sign a more mobile CB to pair w/ Koscielny in games with strong counter attacking teams like Chelsea, Everton, Man City and Liverpool

That he controls the ball before opponent's attacker can touch it makes me thinks he is extremely clever.
