- Опубліковано 30 вер 2023
- Let's try some vintage inspired dresses and clothing pieces from Rihoas, a brand inspired by 'french girl' aesthetics and iconic retro dresses. It's been a lil since we've done a try on haul, so I figured why not a vintage inspired clothing haul for something a bit different to my usual personal style!

Do you know who what’s hilarious? I am French… NOBODY dresses like that back home 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. It’s a cute style but more the type of clothes I see out in the wild here in the UK where I live. ( probably in a more colourful palette though)
All of these outfits look like they were made for you... they're so flattering omg
I love that you're trying out different styles! Would love to see you explore different styles (in a sustainable way? A design challenge for sure) and see how you might articulate different elements (since one of the reasons I love watching your content is the way you analyse and express ideas)
Oh wow, I love all of these pieces 😍 They all look really good on you - especially that red cardigan!
absolutely obsessed w the way those jeans fit?? they look like they were made for you!
I've been wondering about french girl fashion as well, because some of it looks right up my alley - red, white, & blue in as non-American flag styles as possible 😅
WOW! Everything looks great on you! this might not be your personal style, but it works so well for you!
Everything looked great on you 🤩 I would love to see the gingham top with a high ponytail 😊
That last blue dress is a winner!
Love your vids!! So glad to have found your channel c:
omg you are so sweet!! so happy to have you here 🥺✨💕 thank you for subscribing C,:
Many of the dresses remind me of what one would pack to visit Italy or Spain. Loved that navy dress.
Oooh you look like a princess in the first white dress! You got such a good fit on that dress.
love the blue dress especially
Those jeans are super flattering on you! And that stiped shirt looks very chich as you said, but my absolute favorite top is the red cardigan, together with the jeans you have a bomb outfit.
Oh those jeans! WOW!
Everything fits you so well!!! I think you have a “vintage” body type like marilyn monroe-ish 🤭 my favorites were the white dresses 1st and 2nd one ♥️
My personal style i describe it as cute pastel dreamy girly 💖 although lately i been living just in comfy/streetwear clothes 🥴
That deep blue dress looks beautiful on you!
You look beautiful in every outfit. The dresses are so pretty and fit you so well. The tops are so cute. The checked one looked good untucked as well ask tucked. You could wear it either way. The white eyelet dress is adorable. The jeans looks fantastic on you. I know most of these aren’t your normal vibe but I do think they look good on you. The cardigans would look cute over the dresses. You could mix them up and play around with the look. I think it would be fun to play around with all of those outfits and find new looks with them.
That dress you had on in the start (white one) looks soo good on you!!
awww thank you bb :,,,)
sleeveless top looks great on you 💅
Can’t get over the phrase “wa wa we wa moment”
Also my style is dark academia lol but I still love you
you know I love an accurate descriptor 🐀
ooooh so cute!! love dark academia as an aesthetic it's the coziest aesthetic and looks so so cool
My fashion style is grandma from the early 19th century who refused to take fashion advice seriously… early 1900s like pre 1910s, late 1890s silhouettes, with a few more more modern options from the 1940s, my fashion style has seen some things, but vintage, antique styles are more interesting to me.
The gingham shirt is giving me "holiday at the cabin in the Catskills". I can see you pairing it with a pair of high-waisted shorts or maybe a pleated tennis skirt. And the red of that cardigan is absolutely the right shade for you.
Omg I have just been watching Marvelous Mrs Maisel and they literally do just that and wear similar styles too 😅 Yes, perhaps some tailored linen shorts, sunglasses and a refreshing iced beverage would complete the look haha, you nailed it! ✨️
@LucyLivinYT exactly what I was thinking!!! We love a hilarious and stylish girlie.
My style is a mixture of punk/rocker/grunge and goth. I like the flowy lacy witchy goth aesthetic but mixing it with studs, leather, and denim.
My style is a mix between Land's End and Uniqlo. I love linen and chino pants and linen button down tops, as well as flannels. But I also really love graphic tees.
Also, the blue dress at the end was beautiful on you. It does give "proper" with the high neck, little cap sleeves, and muted pattern but the slit and cutout also give it a more of a youthful, updated feel. It a modern take on a classic chic style. I'm not sure Jenna Coleman's Dr. Who stylist would have dressed her in that, though. She did wear a lot of prints and high necks, frequently collared. But Jenna is on the short side and I don't think they put her in many skirts ending below the knee (I also don't remember if she wore cap sleeve tops). I was watching a Kibbe body type video and the analyst gave Jenna Coleman as an example of a gamine and I think her Dr. Who looks match that description. This blue dress reads more classic (the Kibbe classification) vibes to me (balanced, relatively simple, designed for a medium/tall frame).
Nice oufits Love them all it can be difficuilt to buttom up a dress at the bsck or pull up a zip but I Love wearing dresses I Love wearing a fitted dress with a back zip
Try tying a ribbon to the zipper pull and use that for the higher zipper problem, using tiny ribbons means tucking the ribbon inside is basically invisible.
I think that gingham top looked very nice on you and that goes with the other outfits you tried on as well!
I wear comfortable clothes so I know little about fashion. I’m more drawn to colours and soft materials.
Aww thank you so much! Love seeing you pop up in the comments 🥺💖✨️ And also comfy clothes supremacy hehe 😅💕
@@LucyLivinYT 💖Heh, good. Yes, the comfier the better.
slay after slay after slay
also so funny i recently watched a video or read a blog about how jenna coleman and the way they dressed her in Doctor Who is the perfect example of Gamine dressing lol
The broderie anglaise was a bit fade in the background maybe needs some floral colour pop accessories or a different shade for you, but that blue dot dress on you was perfect, and the gingham sleeveless amazing and the red. The stripe top needs thinner stripes
The sleeveless top at 7:40 would look so cool with a white flowy blouse under and a large skirt
Actually you could try it over the first white dress!
My style ranges from feminine goth to casual decora. Depends on the day. I definitely like to look super girly though.
The best way to describe my style is def like yours but more grandma?? hahaha
Love french in general so this video is very much for us Remy Ratatouille girlies oh yes
EDIT: I personally am just a big t-shirt big shorts girl or a cropped t-shirt high-waisted bottoms girl but I do have one dress that I got from my grandmother so sometimes I do feel oui oui frenchy french hahaha
this is similar to the fashion in London, minus a few of the tops but that first top you will find that pattern EVERYWHERE here and that last blue dress and the cardigan look. However, a lot of the tops are worn more oversized.
i definitely dress incredibly opposite to you as a goth / punk trans guy, but i love your videos so much
I got the goth/rock/metal/pastel goth vibe going on (in my late 20s lol) and it would be very interesting indeed if madam ever decided to try it out, especially as it is quite the opposite of your (amazing) style (rat mode)
I'm a goth lol (I know goth is a music subculture and I love the music too, I just mean the kind of fashion a lot of goths wear)
I feel like the phrase you wanted was "do you wear your clothes, or do your clothes wear you?"
You so pretty
15:25 Clara Oswald indeed
I love your videos and style but I wear boho and light academia type clothes , so very different 😅
My fashion style is scrubs....
Except for the striped sweater, this collection looks more like a tourist trying to dress like a French and failing miserably 😂😂
How tall are you
167cm! :)
Since I started sewing I'm just broken. I see every single fit issue and dragline I didn't see before
Those jeans look amazing, but button up flies are so annoying to wear.
First?
you betcha! 💖
