Some new details surrounding Gladiator 2's character beats and action scenes hint that it might continue a frustrating 25-year Pedro Pascal trend. As the release date for Gladiator 2 is inching closer, new elements surrounding the film's cast, characters, and story are beginning to emerge. While some of these new developments promise that the Ridley Scott sequel will be as enthralling as the first film (if not more), others spark some minor concerns surrounding the cast and characters of the film.
One of these concerns revolves around Pedro Pascal's role. Although most details about his Gladiator 2 character are still shrouded, reports suggest he will portray a former military commander. I don't think Danziel Washington is a good fit for medieval films in my opinion
this is based on ancient history, not medieval, lol. And ancient Rome conquered many places with many different races, including the kingdom of Carthage in Africa if your problem is with his "look". If its with him as an actor, I don't think there is anything especially "modern" about his acting style or presence.

This was a interesting trailer looks as epic as the first one,I'm still wondering how mortal kombat 2 doesn't even have a teaser yet this movie and other movies have a trailers and I get that mk2 will most likely be released next year but it was already finished filming and most fans see now is BTS,I'm looking forward to seeing it but just not sure if I'm that hype since nothing much has been shown as far as a teaser,no knock against those who getting right this time just want to see progress on how far they come,is that to much to ask🤷

What i liked most about Gladiator and films of that ilk is the believability of the characters. The feeling that i could totally get into the time period.
Denzel doesnt do that for me. Im thinking this film is gonna be bad.
Sorta like samuel jackson in star wars...just bad casting. And that equals a bad film.
Jackson was pretty good as Windou, its yet to be seen how this plays out for Denzel but he does bring believability to his characters, good thing you aren't a casting director and just a movie goer like the rest of us 😂 who would you prefer Brad Pitt or Adam Sandler?
This movie looks terrible. Just a Napoleon sucked in not sure Ridley has it anymore..say outside alien franchise. Although i do believe he should be given a crack at blade runner. Denis is over rated. BR2 was just meh.
