I imagine the vampire moved in first in one of these three town houses and kept feeding on their human neighbours so that they repeatedly moved out. When the spellcaster moved in they could keep the vampire at bay with their magic but the other townhouse didn‘t get new residents for long so that the price of the property sunk more and more - until the werewolves could afford it. They maybe desperately needed a cheap space and figured that since they were werewolves they could keep the vampire at bay aswell. And that‘s how this neighbourhood came to be😄
Maybe you could do another one with mermaid, alien and fairy (since so many people are trying to manifest it) even though we don’t really have them yet. I think those three would be an interesting combo.
slight suggestion - maybe instead of a straight up fairy house there could be a townhouse for a plantsim! they're an often forgotten occult but it's still a fun idea that allows to use a lot of plants (making it still fairy-ish)
Apparently there's some obscure vampire lore about how putting a rose on a vampire's coffin will prevent them from rising, so you're actually right on the money with the rose imagery in that house!
For the werewolves house I picture it as a "midhouse" sort of. Like there's a veteran wolf, and they opened their house to new and/or lost new wolves, give them a place to crash while they figure their stuff out. So most of the time it's a very busy, messy place, but the vet wolf cooks and cares for them. Also they theach them gardening cause it's "important to feel your connection to nature, it's grounding, and if you are grounded, you are less likely to rampage". I would put whatever plant is used to turn them back to humans too, so the ones who really can't handle it have a choice.
I imagined like a tough grandma or grandpa werewolf that everyone knows not to mess with but they also are super kind and compassionate to younger werewolves
Personal headcanon that the vampire and a werewolf go from enemies to lovers, end up helping the single mum spellcaster with her kid and they all become a hella chaotic family
I just imagine the vampire playing the music over the end montages...as next door is a riot of sound from the werewolves and the magic baby is trying to cry louder then the cat in the spellcaster house😂 very good music and lovely build! I keep looking at the build/buy in realm of magic and Vampire and drooling. Its so pretty someday I'm gonna cave (putting the birdhouse in the kitchen is so whimsical I love it every time you do it!)
oh my godddddd you NEED to lean more into similar aesthetics to the spellcaster's house more often. i'm in loooove with it, it's so so pretty. i love when blacks and purples and blues are used in such a cozy and homey way
Your builds are so full of life! I love the exterior shape of the werewolves' and the mystical feel of the spellcaster's townhomes, especially, while the vampire's home effectively makes me feel like it's somehow locked in time, like you would feel sleepy and somewhat nauseated when stepping into most of the rooms, while they try to keep an almost untouched, pristine appearance for guests but have sort of forgotten about upkeep because their sense of time is just so off from the rest of reality.
Any occult townhouses you want to build, I'm here for it! The spellcaster is so pretty! And the diagonal bit for the werewolf house is brilliant! I started watching your Twitch streams when the birdhouse was a thing; I'm glad chat wanted to see the birdhouse return. Beautiful build, even the rundown parts, as always!
This build actually made me want to play with occults again! I usually get tired of werewolves and vampires very quickly but this living situation seems like a lot of -chaos- fun! Just needs a little birdhouse ;)
This reminds me a lot of the Straud Manor you can visit in the game Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. I love it! So elegant but still fits in to the neighborhood.

(birdhouse!) i love the visual motifs of each townhouse, not just of the decor but the room layouts themselves. the vampire having pretty square/rectangular rooms, as well as the more walls (or partitions) gives me the image of the vampire being very closed-off and rigid, and very neat and orderly. the werewolves has almost everything at a slant or diagonal, very asymmetric, giving of the image of chaotic and energetic. and the spellcaster has a balance of the two, some diagonals mixed with straight walls, as well as a very open space (especially with the open air top floor). love the character you put into this building, im really glad youtube recs brought me here!

So much fun there, the spellcaster house is my favorite cause im deeply in love with every moon themed item in sims 😂 i would love to see part 2 with diffrent occults maybe plant sim, servo and mermaid since its very diffrent aesthetic
Oh yeah - I would love having them above each other as well, and the servo will constantly complain about the mermaid flooding the bathroom and the water dripping into his home and making him rusty xD

I partly joined the building process on twitch and when I first joined in the exterior was almost done and I was STUNNED by it. I loove the shapes of these townhouses especially the werewolf side. It looks so good, so creative and just perfect for werewolves! Birdhouse!

I absolutely love this! I've been playing mostly with Werewolves lately and having so much fun doing trashed interiors for them, yours was really inspiring. Never thought of making a vampire house on the same lot, that should be very fun! Only thing missing was a birdhouse 😉
Awesome build. I love how you managed to capture the vibe for each occult. Not sure if I would keep the BIRDHOUSE in the kitchen if I play with this. I love the nursery in the Spellcaster house. I think I would slightly renovate the werewolves house. I'd remove the trash and news paper piles as the werewolves in my game are a bit more behaved. Then add in a werewolf crib and toddler bed. Then the spellcaster child can grow up becoming friend with a werewolf child. All they have to do to see each other is sneak past the grumpy vampire living in the middle house. I can see the start of an interesting story that way. Even if it is not exactly the werewolves you had in mind in chat.
I think this was such an interesting build! And it was cool to see how the process of the exteriors, which I think actually blend so well together in the end, while still having very distinct occults and vibes. Really good and fun build Tonya !! :)

I really like the three builds and the combo of them, but I love the background-/origin lore you came up with the three different characters ❤️ I tried to build a moroccon riad for an alien botanist and her servo, who got abducted and came pregnant back. The build is in the game gallery called trying maroccon riad

The vampire is trying to be angsty and brooding but it keeps being screwed up by the chaos around them XD
