My mother had fibroids. Doctors thought it was cancer, it wasn't. It can go both ways. If it was caught early, her survival rate is excellent.
My mom and sister had it no big deal Because too many births. She will be fine.

Chemo IS A HUGE DEAL!
A biopsy is made when tumors are believed to be and I am sure she was told the possibility of cancer. Chemo is not an easy treatment but I wish her well. She is a beautiful lady.
@susanabrown1736, I’m pretty sure biopsies are always done after the removal of a tumor even if cancer isn’t speculated I think it’s protocol to test after because they can’t tell unless a biopsy. At least that’s how it was for me 2 yrs ago when I was only 36 I had a cyst on my ovary that they removed and they never had a concern for it to be cancerous but they still did a biopsy and didn’t make it a big deal.

He's not her doctor. He's a specialist in that field of medicine. I'm not trying to be a know-it-all, but when I was nursing, I worked with a Gynecologic Oncologist, one of the best in our region. He had done surgery on my mother-in-law for cervical cancer and I was even a patient of his once for an abnormal pap. I was terrified, but he explained everything so well and loved to teach.
If it IS ovarian cancer, it usually presents with symptoms of a UTI or IBS with bloating and pain and has usually spread by then, I read that there had been talk of Catherine having IBS, so it could be digestive instead of a gynecolgical issue. Either way, I fervently pray for her complete recovery.❤
My family will be praying for the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton.
She is a beautiful young mother, and I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for her family.
We pray for a full healing and recovery.

I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer back in May 2023. I had to have a complete hysterectomy. I started chemotherapy July 10,2023. I had to let my body heal from the hysterectomy first. I’m praying for Kate to completely heal. It’s a lot but she can get through it. 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Stomach and Uterus and Ovarian are three different things.
But they are all in the abdominal cavity.
Just like the liver, spleen, intestines and kidneys.
On the other hand, the Heart and Lungs are in the torso.

This is the perfect opportunity to educate the public!!! That is what they are doing. Nothing negative in the reporting. At least it gets the public to take notice and women are now more aware that they could get that kind of cancer at an early stage. It will save lives. Kate is also a regular person. I am sure if she knows that the info can save the lives of women, I don't think she would be against it. So, calm down.
This is unlike the photo editing which I thought was very unfair as it was harmless as we have all done it. It was ridiculous that the British press went after her.
This case is completely different. A lot of actors and folk that are very well known will use their platform to engage and educate the public, and in this case will save the lives of countless women. Very soon we will see women in her age category after hearing about Kat, will go in to see a doctor about an issue they were ignoring and be able to catch the cancer at a very early stage.
I am sure once she is cured she will be an advocate for women getting screenings for this kind of cancer. That is part of their royal duties, to use stature to help the public.
The speculation is not just about her. It's about anyone with cancer. Even women her age are thinking, "wow, what kind of cancer does she have?" "Could I get this?"

When I was about Kate's age, I had fibroids and went in for a hysterectomy (total hysterectomy due to a family history of ovarian cancer.) I am guessing that is what she went in for unless it was for endometriosis. Luckily, I was told that they did not find any cancer. I was only in the hospital for 5 days, but maybe they keep you there longer in the UK and if you are royalty. I had to be out of work for two months afterward and did not really feel good for a year. It is a major surgery. People I know who have had chemo have felt pretty bad from it. I really feel for Kate and her family!
No hospital would keep a patient in any longer than absolutely necessary due to hospital acquired infection. On top of this she's got a raft of servants who can take care of all her needs so be benefit being on hospital for longer
Gyno surgery doesn’t usually require 5 -10 days in the hospital. I’m thinking kidney, stomach, liver, or some such. I don’t understand why she (and King Charles) weren’t more specific about the type and stage of cancer they are being treated for. They know the media is going to have a field day speculating and digging for more information.
Bull, my cousin had to have a hysterectomy she was in the hospital for 3 weeks, plus for 6 months after she was not allowed to lift anything heavier than a cup.
@@joyplummeridge6940 Notice I said, “usually.” I spent the night and went home the next morning, but mine was able to be done with the laparoscope. 3 weeks is a long time for anyone to stay in the hospital these days. Your cousin must have had some serious complications or had the procedure done 50 years ago, when a week long stay was more common.
@@joyplummeridge6940 Your cousin's situation is highly unusual. Hysterectomy is now a routine almost dull procedure and does not usually require 5-10 days in hospital unless there is a complication. I think Kate mostly likely had a stomach related surgery.

Women all over the world who come from countries with universal healthcare get great care. Diagnosed with cancer nearly 18 years ago. Surgery, chemotherapy and many other supports in place. I was not out of pocket for anything. The US health SYSTEM/BUSINESS model is cruel. I don't understand the fear of universal healthcare in the States.
Might want to think about the people in US who have cancer but don't have the paid time off they need to fully recover and that medical debt is number one cause of bankruptcy. We suck as a country and f off all the idiots who dont support universal healthcare while allowing greedy corporations decide treatment.

I live in Spain and have experience of universal health care in Italy and UK. I now have an auto immune disease and can tell you that universal health care is important. I am looked after marvellously as should everyone.
We here in California have State Disability Insurance for any of us who are ill.
We also have Paid Family Leave for those who need to take care of an ill child, parent, spouse.

@@sherriandranigian8998 I am in California and glad we have some protections that other states don't have, but as someone who has dealt with severe illness while working, I know it does not give us the protection and paid time often needed for illness. All you have to do is hear the reaction many in other countries have when comparing our system to theirs. They are appalled actually. Just was reading comments on Reddit and the differences in sick leave, maternity leave, etc. is huge. We can and should do better.

I, Catherine, don’t feel like myself. I was rushed to the hospital in late December, 2023 after a heated/emotional unfortunate incident. With everyone panicking, an unplanned abdominal surgery was announced to the world to explain my disappearing act & why my trip to visit the Vatican was canceled.
Since I wasn’t getting better & looked more like Sleeping Beauty, the Handlers & the Doctors with the help of the paid media, spat out excuses after excuses hoping one would stick & nobody would notice the ruse. I sincerely apologize to 2 people that are always used as scapegoats. U know who u are, we keep viciously doing u wrong. The reality is, I, Catherine, don’t feel like myself.
After the passing of my mother in law due to cancer & the outpouring sympathy she/we got from the public, “unspecified” cancer became our go-to disease when in a pickle. While many things happened outside my knowledge, I have to admit that, I am shocked by what I’m hearing but can’t see. I, Catherine, don’t feel like myself.
-I’m, no longer Catherine: Became “AI” Kate in December 2023
-1st hospital breach: We paid the hackers
-Aunt by marriage: Has breast cancer that turned to skin cancer
-Father in law: Had an enlarged prostate to an unspecified cancer
-Mother in law: Vacationing while father in law is seeking treatment for unspecified cancer
-“AI” Kate: Planned abdominal surgery morphed into unspecified cancer
-Thomas Kingston: Suspiciously shot himself in the head but no one care
-My husband: Visited me once at the hospital
-My family: Conveniently stayed silent
-Rose Hanbury: Knows why our friendship ended
-My husband’s God father: Passed away & my husband skipped the eulogy but not to visit me
-2d hospital breach: Deflection
-Etc…
A- My mom & my crooked wig weren’t in that 5 wheel car. Kids are home schooled
B- I didn’t manipulate & I refuse the blame for the mother’s day picture fiasco

Sounds like someone I know who is the same age and has given birth. Had tummy ache one day, went to hospital. Doctors assumed it was her ovary causing the issue. Opened her up and found a massive colon tumour. Closed her up, told her she’d be fine and sent the mass for tests. Came back as cancerous and had spread . She went in for ten hour surgery to remove tumour and have HIPEC. Doctors told her it was far worse than originally expected and that she had stage four cancer. Said she’s live for another ten years. Had chemo, another round of HIPEC. Cancer spread to lungs and doctors told her it was a matter of months left to live, not years. All this in the space of two years.
I am so sorry for your friend and her family. How absolutely devastating.

Indeed. False hope isn’t good. Knew another woman who was diagnosed with a brain tumour and the doctors told her she had ten years. Then did surgery and told her it was a matter of months. She passed away at 50. Life is so unfair at times.

My precancer was found removing a "cyst" on my ovary. The other ovary was cancerous. Luckily, mine was found very early

Also colon cancer has the same symptoms! You shouldn’t guess- you just don’t have abdominal surgery without a cause. My recovery was the same time line and it was not a gynecological cancer. Speculating is a waste of time.

This can be serious I just had a cyst removal which was precancerous so the good thing my biopsy came back normal but I did have a serious surgery dealing with my tubes so a lot comments I get it and whatever Kate has I am glad she found out in time it’s not easy can be a silent thing over time I am still little scared but the hard part is over I pray everyone that’s going through any fibroid problem gets healed and blessings to kate

They didn't find out it was cancerous until the biopsy. NOT DURING SURGERY. He said twice that they changed the surgery, unless he's seen the stolen medical records, he's speculating.

That is true cause that’s what they did to me. Went through chemo the next day after surgery.
You don’t stay in the hospital for 13 days for ovarian cancer surgery but you do Pancreatic cancer - more likely not noticed because they did surgery around the blood vessels
They wait about a month which they did. No one is mentioning the pancreas
Doctors likely thought it was best not to say anything until they had more information...They run tests to determine if its more serious...Hope she has a full and speedy recovery..
When you're in the limelight as Royal, being an open book isn't something that's negotiable. It comes with the job specs unfortunately. Your life is open for public consumption. The public deserves to know something. This whole mess could have been averted if only they had just said, she's had a recent healt diagnosis and as soon as we are allowed clearance from her doctors we will let the public know. Simple PR. With that said, we wish her a quick and full recovery in Jesus name!!

I had fibroids removed and stayed in the hospital for days longer than originally planned due to the complications….
It took a year and some change for my body / uterus to “heal”. Even though you are stitched up and look well on the outside, you can still feel your insides… well at least I could… so I was walking slower for a year… they do send the fibroids to the lab to test for cancer…

I had uterine cancer in 2006. I was told 4 times that it was not cancer. After surgery I was called almost 6 weeks later and told that it looked like cancer, it was.

Cancer diagnosis on younger people is on the rise. For example, prostate cancer used to be the disease of older men. However, today you would be surprised to see many younger men in their 40s get diagnosed with prostate cancer.

@@lisasante254 When you have cancer and need to take off work, you tell your employer you have cancer. They need to know what to expect because someone has to do your job while you're gone. You have to give your employer enough information to know that your leave will be protected by the FMLA in U.S. I think I've had something signed by the doctor stating the condition I would be taking off work for. Keeps your employee from firing you and allows you to use your sick time.
