@260rips ignore the haters mate. You do a grand job. The amount of evenings I go out and see and shoot nothing or maybe a couple pests from rabbits to fox. I can imagine it’s bloody hard work going out and trying to get content for an episode each week for some ungrateful buggers!

Dam that thing is LOUD. You don't need to use max power if you're shooting accurate head shots. You also take the chance of ricochets with all that extra power. You might try the Hades Pellets. If you're going to pop them with full power, the Hades will make sure they don't run...
I think the mic picked up the sound of the shots and made them sound louder than perhaps they sounded to my ears in the field, but yes, it’s noticeably louder than a 12ftlb 177! Most shots were into bales or soft earth from 40-50 yards and shooting from sticks I was preferring to generally take body shots having to often take quick shots before the buggers moved! Yes I like the hades pellets, I use them in my air arms. I don’t actually own a .25 and at about £20 for a tin of 300 I opted for the jsbs as they also suited another .25 rifle I was testing so I was being tight 😆
Doing quite a bit of this I find that having the mic to close to your mouth it picks up a lot of breathing noise. It doesn’t matter where you place a mic it will pic up the rustle of clothing against it. It’s also advisable when hunting to speak quietly to not spook stuff, try turning the volume up 👍
Maybe you should listen to the moaning then and get the show back on track. Check out some forums etc. I'm not the only one who's disappointed in how the shows gone!
There’s 400+ likes on the video as well as positive comments so it seems not everyone is so unimpressed. I’m paid to produce a 10 minute segment for the show which I fit in around a full time job. I’m afraid the fact the news and reviews section which made up the rest of each episode previously seems to have been dropped 🤷🏻♂️

not sure why you are using 33.95 grain heavies for ratting. only on super windy occasions do i break the heavies out. the exact king 26 grainers do a much better job expanding and youll get more shots per fill

Hello Rob, Just a thought...It is very time consuming and hard to put out these videos on a regular time schedule that has good information about our sport...first you have to sit out in sometimes freezing conditions for hours on-end, and then you don't always take any quarry! Then you need to edit and check the assembled video over and over to make sure that the spelling and content is correct, and that can take days...There is much more work to having a UA-cam Channel and putting out videos, but I think you get my point...I hope you will stay and give the presenters that are filling in on this channel another chance mate... Only really because I was also testing an Fx impact so rather than buying 2 tins of pellets in a calibre I don’t own I made do! 😉

Hunting can be done with dogs, gun, spear, bow and arrow… it’s simply a term, currently I’m hunting for my car keys with my eyes 🤪
