    People of UA-cam, the answer is to reduce our consumption significantly and not serve the rich. The Amish are doing a very good job at this

    If Humans really want to save this earth, the only solution is to lower our standard of living. Funny thing about us humans is that most of us wanted a luxurious life. But this luxurious life of our is the main cause of all this pollution and climate change.

    Ancient wisdom from yesterday will do just fine. No need to reinvient the wheel of common sense. USE LESS fossil fuels, PERIOD.

    Amazing! I love knowing the scientific explanations to old Filipino “superstitions”. I was really hoping you could explain the whistling because I grew up in a village in the Philippines, and after rice harvest season, the older ladies would take their own spot and they would all whistle and a breeze always came to help them sift through the rice grains in their flat basket, like magic.

    I see many comments that this message doesn’t resonate with. I challenge you, before you leave a quick comment about your grandparents working in the fossil fuel industry- to look back to your ancestral heritage that lived in communion with the land, and discover wisdom in traditions there.

How on earth are we going to repay so much national debt and at the same time make it affordable for our youth to live and branch out. We’ve invested in the wrong places.

      That’s my point. Running on electric CURRENT powered by nuclear power without battery storage such as trains, trams and trolleys is GREEN. Cars with 1,000 pound batteries powered by our current inadequate power grid are worse than gas powered cars.
      Hybrid cars are far more GREEN than EV’s.

      You are missing so much of the point, socialism isn't rainbows and sunshine like you seem to think. Here's one point, who bares the cost of a company's debt if the company fails in a capitalist vs socialist system, let's throw communism in for fun. In capitalism the own/owners bare the risk and responsibility for the company, in socialism the employees bare the risk and responsibilities and in communism the entire people bare that burden, how much of the responsibility for someone else's decisions do you want the bare?

    Do you really think that carbon is coming "from the soil" ...... ?

    • @MrLoobu
      @MrLoobu 5 місяців тому +4

      Carbon is sequestered in everything that grows from the ground. Which we kill for all kinds of reasons. Even if it's not burned, they no longer scrub carbon from the atmosphere when dead.

    • @kinglewisjtl24
      @kinglewisjtl24 5 місяців тому +3

      Please research carbon capture banks- it is big business today and many with land get tax rebates for the amount of carbon sequestered vs developing land in a way that would release and increase the amount of carbon

    • @jonmccroskey927

      Plants pull CO2 out of the air kick out new oxygen and keep the carbon. Part of what they do with that carbon is exchange it with mycelium (fungi root systems basically) for nutrients. The mycelium is great at creating “nodes” and deposits of carbon that stay in the ground for many many years, or until disturbed. The term Agro-Forestry is farming with this concept at the forefront, among many other concepts of importance. 🌲

    The answer is putting your faith in Jesus Christ, because He alone can save you from destruction.
    “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭18‬ ‭
