Brings back memories of the last concert i went to with my Dad! Two of the bands were these guys and Warrant. They started this song and Dad & I grinned at each other and sang every word along with it. What great memories with a great song!
I was in love with this song when I was little. My brother had the cassette tape and played it all the time because I loved it so much and eventually wore the tape out lol.
Thanks Dad for forcing me to listen to 80's rock music in your car when I was younger 17 years old now and I can say i have a pretty good collection of it on my iPod :)
I was born in 80' so I cant really say I lived the 80s, however my brother who was born in 77' got into this music pretty young and drilled it it in my head....and im 33 now and 80s metal and hair bands still rule 90 percent of my collection....so much better than stuff out today....ok, so they looked funny but musically blow away all stuff out now.....
Glad this song is very well known and liked in 2013. It became a minor hit at the very start of '91, but it was hurried along just like any hair band song not introduced prior to 1990. Now people realize what a great rock song this is.
I think Firehouse would have been one of the truly great "hair/glam" metal bands of the 80's. It's unfortunate that they arrived when "hair/glam" metal was going out of style in the early 90's. I think this song came out in 91.
I saw these guys back in '98 along with slaughter, skid row, and warrant was the head liner in Panama City. Firehouse blew all of them away...freaking amazing. Where is this type of music these days? Who can save us from the crap out there now?
Firehouse is a GREAT band. They had the misfortune of getting in on the tail end of the "hair metal" days of the 80's. I think I remember this song coming out in 90' or 91'.
I'm obsessed with this song and your video!! The type ups at the end fucking SLAY me every time!! Cheers mate!! Thank you for making such a great video to go with such a great song!! :)
i gota admit....i like this band ALOT more than than some who think they know me well "mite think"....they really kinda onea my favorites (far as big hair )
I'm tired of people knocking hard rock and metal of the 80's. Music is supposed to be fun and all the bands of the 80's were just that. FUN. This is only my opinion but today's music just doesn't cut it. Originality is gone and at least these bands knew how to deliver the goods and entertain live. it was about the look and the music until Nirvana got credit for three chord rock and the technical solos and vocals faded away. Rock On

These guys are great. I wore my CD out. The 80s rocked. Great band.
This song was from the 90s... Lol
I wore my cassette out! 😆 Love my 80's and 90's hair bands! 😍
I was in love with this song when I was little. My brother had the cassette tape and played it all the time because I loved it so much and eventually wore the tape out lol.
I'm with you I would give it all to go back to the 80s!!!

Thanks Dad for forcing me to listen to 80's rock music in your car when I was younger

This song was out in mid 80's. I hate the term "hair band!" It's freaking Rock N Roll. No long hair, no Rock N Roll.
Firehouse had only a handfull of exeptional tunes, but the good ones are really damn good.
they had about 20 show stoppers
this song is amazing thanks for puttin it on

I am secure in the knowledge that you are one less person promoting any current top-40 music. Top 40 music 25+ yrs ago, was MUCH different. thank you
Yes that was cool 😎👍😀.
I love this song
During the solo I think about how much fun the 80's were. I was in an 80's metal band so it was pretty cool.

I've had this song stuck in my head for like 3 days. I tried to turn it into Cherry Pie by Warrant tonight at work but my brain wasn't having it!
i love the song cherry pie
I LOL'd at your comment! I hate getting songs stuck in my fuckin' head!
@TrainingStream I totally agree 100% Unfortunately these guys came on scene as the hair band era was ending. Extremely unfortunate for us all!!
