You know blue is my boyfriend, so I love love love this palette. It's so unique that I would absolutely mount it on a black background, but maybe add some gold dust to the top resin coat of the background. Great piece Sarah, can't wait to see the final.
😮❤ Sarah is truly amazing how you took something that you bought in the store and added your twist on it and turned it into something totally gorgeous. And I think it would definitely look beautiful mounted on a wood background in black resin and I hope you saw us what you’ve decided to do with it, because I think the black background will really make it pop even more. Can’t wait to see it.😊😊
Sarah, you have vision that I do not have. I would never have thought to pick up that piece at a yard sale to paint over it. But then, you did buy that expensive pocketbook and did a gorgeous job swiping on that!! This came out great. I think I would like to see the center portion gold as it was.....but I can't wait to see what you do. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So nice to watch you again!! This is turning out stunning. I would do a same pour on half of the end pieces , then simple dark Combo like you did in other sections. I think that way your eye would travel along and see the stunning details you just did. Beautiful!💖💖💖💖
Absolutely stunning and SO unique Sarah! I love it. I like the idea of a black background with some sparkles in the resin. Maybe a subtle bling with color?❤
Absolutely cool pouring with an amazing color palette. If I were you I would use for the cut area a bronze or golden color. Looking forward to see the second part Sarah👍🏻⭐️⭐️⭐️😘
Love it! I have used under lament (for floors), it is lighter. You could spray it with a black matt finish and then attach a simple quarter round on the edges for a framed look. Can't wait to see it when your finished .
Girl, I'd wonder about your sanity if you WEREN'T over the moon with this as it stands, so far! Man, oh man!! HOLY SHIZZ...outside!! Lordy, lordy!! I say mount it on something matte black to show off the shine on this. What a gorgeous creature! For that cut-out part...my brain says gold spray paint and then diamond dust in resin over the top of just that area. Maybe. Might be too flashy.
I have poured on cut sheet metal before- tried everything and rust eventually came thru 😢 I pour on vinyl records though and then my hisband drill presses them to slightly larger so a clock kit fits! Its PERFECT
I’m ready to pull down old canvases I’ve had up for decor and paint over them as well! I bet garage sales would be a great place to find interesting things as well! Where did you find this piece?
Hi! Fluid Art Boutique no longer exists. our recent DC event was our last event. However, I do lessons in my home over zoom and I will also be doing a couple of events in 2025.

In the middle of watching this! Loving this! Was just thinking about recycling things like this!
Really awesome! I’ve been wondering about pouring on metal. Can’t wait to see what this looks like when it’s finished.

White with a drop of gold as a surround backdrop. You’re so talented.
That what I was thinking. Black background! But the added gold dust sounds like a fantastic addition!
Didn’t think of white! Hmmmmm things to think about for sure!
@@SarahMackArt Instead of gold in the black resin I would put an iridescent glitter so it could be planets on a starry background.
Very innovative!❤ Great to see you painting again.
Thank you so much 😀
Watching you do the detail work was great!
Thank you very much!
Very cool! I love the colors and cannot wait to see it finished.
Thank you! Cheers!

GORGEOUS!!!! Me 🏃🏼♀️ to order Golden Color Pouring Medium!!! I LOVE everything about this!!! 🫶🏼💐
Agree! I’ve only used liquitex pouring medium, definitely need to try goldens!
It came out great!
Thank you!
I can't wait to see the complete piece done. Such a great 💡. Hi beautiful Mimi
Absolutely gorgeous honey. It stands on its own but understand if you want to mount it on something. 😮

Amazing art💕
Thank you so much 😀
Sarah this is so cool and beautiful WOW 😍 I would just mount it on the wall with out the wood
That would be cool!
I agree that it would look beautiful mounted on a piece of wood to really show it off

I like the diamond dust idea!
I’d add texture and sparkly geode type glass to the inside!

I found it at HomeGoods :)
Attached to a resined gold piece of wood.
Wow! Gorgeous!!!! What about geode crystals on the inside?
Love that idea!
