Sometimes the simplicity of a ring pour is needed. I didn't over stretch this piece as I noticed how perfectly balanced it was against the black and white negative space. I really enjoyed creating this fluid abstract painting. The Arteza metallic paints are a must have. They mixed smoothly with Mix Medium and remained gorgeous and vibrant!

Beautiful lines! And you amaze me at how you end your pours with a perfect centre!! In my opinion black, white, gold and silver is a difficult combination to work with but this is really pretty- you succeeded without having a bunch of grey 💕

Sarah, I love how three dimensional this one turned out to be. With such a limited palate it might have been boring or muddy but instead it's completely intriguing. I think I'll be trying something similar one of these days. Two thumbs up, my friend.

What would the ratio of paint to medium be for glue/water medium? I love watching these videos and I get so inspired but I just can’t seem to get my paint mixtures quite right.

Hi Sarah, I am a great fan of your art! I don’t see a recipe for the pouring medium listed so I will use just floetrol. Did you add any water? You said your paint is on the thick side so I guess this will be my cues. Loving this one! But nervous about going without a recipe as good and silver are quite expensive...
All colors are mixed with MIX POURING MEDIUM at a 7:1 ratio. I give that information out in the first five minutes of the video ☺️

You can also do this with floetrol. But keep your paint on the thicker side.
