My Baleno, seemingly identical to this, has been going quite well the year or so I've owned it. Yes it's cheap and lacks power, but that's exactly what I expected judging by the specsheet and the prize. For the prize it's an extremely capable car! I'll leave some comments on things y'all should know if you're buying one of these used in the future.
**The good stuff**
- All-round super comfortable at up to 100 km/h
- The engine is super smooth and provides reliable power delivery
- Spacious profile can easily fit 4 people and a couple of suitcases
- Heating and AC solution is reliable and efficient
- Service/oil change indicator can be reset from the dashboard itself
- The Panasonic radio (same as this model) is super cool and has completely blown my expectations
- Minimal panel gaps and no apparent rattling noises has developed so far... *take that Elon!*
- Soft suspension is very capable for the crappy mismanaged roads in my area
**The bad stuff**
- Aerodynamic profile, soft suspension and low weight makes it very flimsy and wobbly when driving in above-average storms
- Radar system cannot be fully disabled and will show *three** warning lights when covered in snow :/
- Door handles and locks relatively geared for freezing conditions, but the hinges aren't...
- Daylight sensor somehow broke on my model... I had no idea components like that could fail, but oh well
- Inadequate glovebox space for most people. Over half of it is taken up by papers and the manual
**Driving noise**
- Wheel noise can get a bit annoying, especially at high speeds, but it's easy to deafen out with some music and noise compensation set to Level 2 (on the Panasonic radio, fitted on this model in the video. Cannot confirm this is a thing on the Exclusive model with the media center).
**Economy**
- Throughout the spring, summer and autumn, with average driving habits being roughly 35% highway (~100-110 km/h), 45% country road (~70-80 km/h) and 20% city/congestion, I've averaged at roughly 21 km/L, with my worst number being around 20.0 km/L (driving more impatiently and at higher speeds)
- Through the winter months (with temps between 4°C and -14°C) I've averaged 19.7 km/L, albeit I've also been driving more carefully than usual due to insecure road conditions

I drove that model with the same engine over 24'000 km and my fuel consumption was 6/100 km in town and under 5/100 km on highway. Total combined consumption was (according to both the computer and my own calculations) 5,1 liters per 100 km. How you came up with 7/100 I do not know, but it does not use that much fuel.

Hello, i am from India. And i have Baleno delta . Here it gives 18-20 km/L milage . But what i dont like is the body shell they provide in India . it is different from European countries . You can feel it too if u open indian baleno's doors and then close them you will feel the sound difference of body shell.

In 2023 version the body metal sheet has improved a lot.. Overall Baleno is now 90 kg heavier.. I booked it last week and I loved its interior❤️..

Timing chain this engine have ,and its a lot better than using belt. This is the base version od baleno in Denmark this version is called comfort . Middle range version called Active have adaptive Cruise Control controlled on right side sterring wheel with radar brake support that on critical situation will start slowing to avoid collision with car in front

Awesome car! My one has the 1.4l engine of the Swift Sport without the turbo.

@@wolfschindler8921 My have 90hp without turbo, with petrol 95 on full throttle goes like you have a turbo on it. It's powerfull but what's most important is that is economic as well if you drive it normal, one tank of petrol 550km you can drive.

Suzuki is a little bit faster and powerful and had a better mileage.
Peugeot have more beauty and general quality

the car is a can. The badge of poor quality. The car seems cheap.
It is mechanically reliable.
