That Route Advisor mod makes me wish even more that the Gavril T-Series or even a modernized version was added to American Truck Simulator as a mod. At least the International 9900i is a very close second because I want to say Gabester modeled the T-Series after International trucks like that.
@@norfolksouthernrailworks1543 Can I just add that I feel so bad for you guys, mainly because all(if not most) of the times a train hits a road vehicle, it's usually never your fault, it's the driver of the vehicle. Those people never think about what collisions or near misses do to the engineer. The mental toll that a collision, or even near misses, can have on an engineers' mind is phenomenal. I hope you never have to experience that, my friend.

Edit: yardmaster is a term we use but not for ops, a yardmaster is essentially the manager of a certain yard. The term you are looking for is Engineer....
do mutiplayer with ob spycakes and neil because ob does not need to do brick rigs to try and stop the train because i think ob will love the trains the most and will flashback from brick rigs and know that brick rigs is not the only game that does have trains that can be destroyed
There is this mod called U I mod u are able to make it so u can create you’re own police chase’s where a i can be the runner and cop and u can add traffic so the runner can crash
I think you should do an unstoppable style mission where the runaway train is going full speed down the line and you have to catch up to it, couple up to it then stop it. That’d be fun to watch!
there is quite a lot of train mods for beaming drive and doing the steam train or a train race in multiplayer will be a master piece of beaming racing to remember

camodo, ATS is kinda unstable with mods. i had the 50 states mod installed and half the map was empty but i was driving on nothing. it took 6 hours to drive from california all the way to Miami Florida
I worked on a train once when we hit a bus. We were going through a slow area so track speed was 10 miles per hour and our engineers had a couple hundred feet warning to hit the breaks so we were doing less when we hit it. Obliterated the side and shoved it a ways down the track before we finally got stopped. No fatalities but a number of broken bones, train was barely scratched. This really wasn't that far fetched, though most likely the train would have derailed before that point.

Btw a train is when a engine is hauling several freight cars, a locomotive is what hauls the train. Just to help with some terminology.
The truck sim mod will be useful for not just trucking but police chases you will be able to navigate a lot better

Put a semi trailer in front of a train and try to get it to go right through it. Maybe put a short ramp so the train goes right into the trailer.

You should try out a police chase in a train if that's possible. You in the train and the cops trying to stop you or hit you off the rails.

Train takedown someone try's to stop a train with a diesel or truck or a large vehicle and someone try's to make it around the entire map.
Diesel is pritty hard to ignite and isn’t flammable unless it’s a very fine mist and under a lot of pressure
