can my company monitor my activity when using a PC with Direct Access?

Kind of, like he said once direct access is set up it stays on running. It's transparent so you don't even notice when you're on unlike a vpn you need to engage it to work. It would be best for you to just have another machine work it's own connection if you want to be monitored free.
