The Keys delay is generally not considered to be very good, as it is implemented with the leftover CPU power of the Keys, rather than as an important feature. Another reason is that the Monotrons have the Korg MS-10/MS-20 filter, unlike the Volca series. It all depends on what one likes, but I for one love the gritty character of the MS-20 filter, and using a Monotron you can apply it to anything :)
Exactly, just bought the volca keys and i got really disappointed because when i add delay from the volca it has a metallic sound that is annoying, its something that isnt in the sound itself, its just noise and it increases when i add more feedback... please if you have an answer for that tell me, but for me its just bad quality... i know its a toy, but if you are buying something from Korg and its analogue, at least you expect that it sounds decent
yeah, not gonna use it because it doesnt sound good, i will use a delay from ableton... but still bro, i dont agree with it, the delay is a tool from the product and the metallic sound shouldnt be there. i feel cheated from korg...

I got the same setup currently and I'm about to add a more sophisticated sequencer. I like the one on the volca keys but it's a pain to work with sometimes
