I think the revamp of class and color management is truly exceptional....and finally creating a palette for dark mode has become simple. I can't wait to get my hands on the final version. congratulations
I made reinstate to my opinion about this, when I said I don't like to add plugin to make enhancements on the Builder... This plugin is extraordinary, And exception made. Thank for your hard work. P.S. - In the future if you add the ability to disable and enable elements in Bricks, will much helpful.
Simply PHENOMENAL.. there is no using Bricks without having Advanced Themer also.. infact, I can not imagine using Bricks without it! The one thing I would really like you to do is "COMPONENTS"!!! Because of the way you are able to create panels / settings in the builder, if "you" were to create components.. it would be GREAT! Obviously it wouldn't be a thing for AT, but if you created a separate product / addon, I would be your first LTD RIGHT NOW! * In the Class Manager there REALLY needs to be a button / method maybe not to backup entire DB, but definitely backup styles before making these edits! These changes are permanent changes. * In the Class Manager there needs to be a "Clear All Fields Button" see @55:50

Still watching the video (love the update!) - a question, how well does AT 2.0 play with the ACSS color configurations? Do they work well together? Should one be disabled when focusing on another? Will continue to watch!
At 51:44 you talk about applying to breakpoints and it shows the 4 icons for breakpoints. Does AT recognize also if there are more than the regular 4 breakpoints and how they are shown as icons?
Yes it lists all your custom breakpoints (and respect mobile-first if you set it). The icons are the one you choose when you create your custom breakpoint in the breakpoint manager
Love the revamp of Class Converter. I like how it visually shows you what you’re going to get. Sometimes I don’t want a class for every element in the group. Maybe we could ‘de-select’ elements that we don’t want css selectors to be generated?
Very handy updates. Is it possible to have a setting where the “Class Converter” can also give the names to the iDs and not just the classes? This will make it easy to build rename element iDs. Although for iD, there should be an option for its own delimeter. So we have for example My heading. Class and iD having option for unique delimeters each
Do the dark-mode-colors switch also when the browser turns into that mode? I have made a short test, but I just get it switched, when I press the dark model toggle.
@@AdvancedThemer so... we have a button or toggle for darkmode. But we can also have multiple colour palettes, so what about a dropdown select that will allow website visitors to select a palette (which may also be combined with light and dark mode). Another possible extension would be a palette to be associated with a post that can be set via forms. So front end created posts could have a "colours palette" option. Just ideas! 😊
Agree - color manipulation is exceptional but why would you need acss now? The renaming of classes is a godsend, same as export to class button - countless times I style on the fly and no class assigned have to start again.
I don’t use any CSS frameworks personally, but I know a lot of ppl in the bricks community find them useful. The idea behind AT is not to force you using any specific tool/method, but give you new functionalities to enhance your building experience- independently of your actual stack. 👍
It would be great if at some point you could get rid of ACF, if you keep adding cool stuff that will make us want to keep AT installed forever. I am not very happy having to have a plugin I don't have control of by default.
@@IssaKhlief Bcos you don’t have control over the plugin and if it has a bug with your stack you can’t reach support. So if it has security issues you have to wait until Maxime make a release. And if for some reason it breaks your site you are in trouble. Also if you use Meta Box or other dynamic data plugin. It might cause incompatibilities. So at the end it adds a layer of uncertainty to the product. We lucky that Maxime fix stuff fast but I would not let activated in a premium site or one that being down can cause important money loss like an e-commerce.
Perfect warm up before the Apple Event… still watching 🎉
Binge watching all of these, Soooooooooo Good, thank you.
There are some very interesting developments and features, Maxime, especially the class manager. Thank you.

What a fantastic set of updates. These updates deserve the 2.0 version number.

+1 for disable elements!
Damn, Maxime, another amazing update. Easily the best workflow-enhancing add-on across all builders ever.
HELLO INTERNET! Can't wait to dive in. Congrats Maxime on v 2.0, its gonna be awesome y'all!
It looks great, very cool. Gonna rewatch at some point, this one was kinda long. Good job Maxime!
Some truly well thought through and genuinely helpful improvements to the Bricks system. Well done!
Always love your innovation and "Warts and all" videos :) Love your work dude.
I just wish I had the time to play with the 2.0 beta.

Great suggestion! I will add the reset button for the stable release

Yep that’s doable
Really powerful. wow. 🎉
Finally a great color manager
Wow, so many incredible features & exciting additions. The efficiency is just going to another level. Is there an ETA on when 2.0 will be rolled out?
I hope to receive enough feedback from the community to be able to release the final version next week 👍

What’s your use-case for bulking rename ID’s?

What about a palette selector element that is saved to either user profile or cookies? Could be a nice addition.
I’m not entirely sure to get what you mean. Could you give more details?

Yes, Bricks has an import/export feature built inside the builder

Would be good in the class manager to have ALL and UNASSIGNED… unassigned showing all the classes that are NOT in a group.
