When I bought the Henry Quick I did consider a Halo also the bags are more environmentally friendly, but the price was way too high for me on the Halo , Henry win me over . Keep both hoses you could clip two together for extra reach, I did that with a Dyson cordless hose.

To my mind, as well, if there’s a flexible hose it should also have a shoulder strap for the machine itself, freeing up one hand…
Ordered mine yesterday on a 50% off offer. Can't wait for arrival. I've been fed up with spending so much time cleaning out mucky bins and filters on my previous Vax and Dyson cordless models. You don't realise what a drawback all that cleaning of cordless backless vacs can be till you get one (but would never go back to tripping over a corded model!).
A few months on how are you getting on with it? Hopefully it lived up to expectations!
@@ednewmy Brilliant! I moved to a smaller property after I first took delivery. Can't believe how long the bags last. No more traipsing back and forth to empty the dirt can (and no more getting fingers in or a pokey tool to get out residual dust and dirt!)

I am impressed with all that it collected within a few days of use.
For such an expensive machine it looks a bit cheap and crude… agree ref the battery placement, looks like an afterthought!

I would avoid composting it as the carpet fibres that get picked up are plastic after all

NOT compostable... it's just green washing
Same for dog hair, food wrappers, and anything else you pick up. Compostable only means that it will break down in the city landfill when it sits there for 20+ years and becomes part of the earth. It doesn't mean throw it in your back garden and grow tomatoes with it.
Great video. When it comes to cordless machines, do you prefer this to bagless?
Im unsure if i like it or not, seems to perform well.
Any time Which? magazine recommend anything that doesn't require a second mortgage is a bonus in itself.

The shape of the "capsule" reminds me of a 1930's Electrolux vacuum.
I do agree with you Roger but people make mistakes and no body is perfect
I would prefer the Henry bags, but still very impressive.
These bags are definitely not airtight I've had mine for a few weeks & half the dirt ends up sitting on top of the bag entrance & sometimes gets stuck in the rubber flap in the nozzle. The Henry quick definitely out performs this vacuum

I bought the Airfox Platinum, and my God it’s awful, truly the worst built piece of You Know What, I’ve ever seen, I’ve sent them videos of the cheap construction, it’s truly evil they even sell it over £50

You can import it, just need a voltage converter for the charger, or find the equivalent output of the charger for a US plug that will fit it.
Would be interested to know if the Halo accessories fit the Henry Quick?

I just couldn't get used to so much bulk at the handle end
It just looks wrong. Weight distribution. Ergonomics. Aesthetics.
Sometimes it's not all about performance. You also have to feel good about using it.
I like a sexy vacuum as well. It's a shame that this seems to be the only bagged cordless available.
@@unclebob8419😅😅 I don't know about a "sexy" vacuum, but I think Henry vacuums do a bagged one.
After the disastrous Dyson experience with cleaning out, dust allergies etc I'm now looking for a bagged one.
@@Mortthemoose I bought the Halo X a couple of weeks ago. I got the package with the soft roller head. It's great, it's powerful for a cordless, all the tools work well.
