Hey T nice haircut. Anyway because I’m old I like metal appliances. For a vacuum cleaner made in metal the issue was electric shock. Everybody was afraid about that. So when plastic cleaners arrived people switched to plastic. But now even a metal wet and dry it’s not easy to find. It’s something special with this things made in metal and that Sputnik look a like it’s really something Special. Thanks T.
That’s because that’s what it’s meant to be, but when this model was released Maytag owned hoover so they used the Maytag label, this was an update of an iconic vacuum, same basic design but with hepa filtration, and a stronger motor and a turbo head.
