@@Dr.chunky I'm aware that the Twins play at Target Field. Was just trying to suggest going to a Wolves playoff game instead. Sorry for the confusion, I didn't word my statement very well.
So cool to see you get to The U! That garage door by the field just past the oars is where the players run out I'm pretty sure. The buggy/scooter thingy is what the mascot occasionally zips around on. Thanks for this video! I've been waiting patiently for it. The view from the student section with the skyline and scoreboard in the background was a dream come true to see pov. It was super great checking out a lot of behind the scenes places at Huntington Bank Stadium. Also big thanks for showing love to the hockey program. Hockey is very special to the state. Thats why the ceremony was there I'm sure. Hoops are cool too and a bit of a bummer you didn't get into "The Barn" but you didn't miss a whole lot other than the elevated playong floor, at least from a fans perspective. As a huge college sports fan, and sports fan in general of almost all sports, I continue to appreciate all of your uploads. Take care!
Maaaan GFed you ALMOST had suite access at Huntington Bank in that tunnel, there's a service elevator from that level that will bring you up to the suites and press box. Also at Mariucci - if you walk in the tunnel past the zamboni's, there's an underground connecting tunnel between Mariucci and Ridder Arena where the Women's team plays so staff can access both arenas when games are happening at the same time.
Although they haven’t won a championship in hockey in a while, they’re almost always in contention. They’re still like an Alabama for hockey along with Michigan and Boston. Also, MN loses a lot of players early to the draft, more than any other school. If hockey players stayed all 4 years like they used to, they would have more championships in the last 20 years.
It actually makes aot of sense to hold graduation at 3M Arena than Williams arena, it's still rather large for a college hockey arena at 10k seats and has a much larger floor. Williams Arena is really cool but also has no floor space.
Minnesota has 3 other teams who have won national championships in hockey since 03 also, tough for one team to be dominant. Now if it was just the Gophers for D1 Ho key in the state they would winning a lot more
Welcome to my neighborhood! If you're still here, Sidewalk Kitchen and Tea House both have awesome Chinese food and Test Kitchen has the best donuts you will ever have in your entire life. I've been to games here but never noticed the Native American heritage plaques, I'll have to check them out.
@@theEWDSDS I know, I’m just laughing at having a bank sponsor as some sort of nostalgic thing that’s in your heart. They could put whatever they want on the hockey or basketball arenas, they will always be Marriucci and Williams.
3:01 the buggy is what Goldy Gopher drives around on the field some times
Yes it Happened now try to stay as long as possible at target field
Target Center* Wolves are in playoffs lol
@@tylerbach3519 the twins actually.

if they didn't have the graduation stuff going on you could have probably just walked into the locker rooms lol
Off season for hockey so it was probably already de-iced, such a beautiful hockey arena 😍
