I only throw with custom throwers. Ive been throwing nospin and halfspin instinctive /wave/ fedin syle for about 5 years. I definitely disagree about using cheap asserted knives. If you're like me and you end up making knife throwing more of an obsession than a hobby, youll want to be precise and consistent with your throwing. This is accomplished with a mix of practice, using proper techniques and more practice. Youll definitely be a lot more consistent using the same knives. And the high quality throwers that aren't mass produced are simply going to yield better results. Im not saying you should start out with a 300 dollar set of throwers....... but if you stick with it , youll end up with em. Just don't waste your time and money on gimmicks .
I can see the logic behind this. For me personally, I like to put challenge in it.. I like the idea being able to pick up anything anywhere and throw it and hit.
What’s great is my question before my searching was “are kabars able to be throwing knives” because of the idea of trying to find knives you would normally carry that you could throw as well. (Vs just throwing knives because what weirdo carries those regularly) the very few videos I found of anyone throwing those or any other knives that weren’t specifically throwing knives is crazy. Because my thought process is, if you wanna throw a knife, you better learn to throw the one you’re carrying. So good on you for giving a realistic show on, what is a capable throwing knife
Funny enough, the main reason I clicked on this video was because after seeing the thumbnail and reading the title I was thinking, "He throws a traditional pocket knife?? No way! Surely not! Which traditional pocket knife can hold up to throwing? I want that one!!". Nice vid, all the best to you. And if you ever come across a small folder that CAN withstand the abuse of being thrown, please tell me! I am actually looking for something like that for real.
Good stuff! Glad I saw this! I just carved out a blade from a railroad metalplate, 20*15 cm originally. Throwing this meatcleaver thing is just awesome. I found a lot of railroad spikes laying around as well. Now I know. Great upload thx.
I bought a set of throwing knives... the reason I didn't ''throw them away'' is because they're kinda cool... and a blade is always a blade... I've got sort of blades that I can stick that are not even meant to fly...
I'm just trying to impart information. If you want to see someone throw knives on UA-cam, this probably isn't your channel. YOU are the one that needs to "do something".

Cold Steel Ti Lite is tough enough to throw.

Can't break anything made out of that
Can't break anything made out of a railroad spike. It is rather soft carbon steel. Maintain a thick spine - my advice. Thanks for watching
Good info.

No doubt
The audience from China says hello to you
