The Nelson jacket was perfection and love the ballerina flats. The burgundy jacket was nice too but prefer the Nelson on you. I’m enjoying your reviews on Sezane pieces. I just purchased the dark khaki Clyde and waiting for it.
I wish I had only managed to bring one carry-on with me 😅🙃 but I'm glad I made that decision so I could bring more clothes & bring some Tuscan goodies back home!

I also find some of Sezane's pieces to be too high and tight in the neck. I'd never want to be clawing at my neck and feeling a choking sensation. Added to that - the colour not being cool as you hoped and the snugness of the hips it seems like the Simon jacket is a no for you. Doesn't matter that you think it might be more of a 3 season jacket than the Nelson. You loved the Nelson, it fit great and the colours are great on you. You just won't reach for the Simon and you'll spend all fall pulling at your neck and wishing you'd kept the Nelson. i can personally recommend those gorgeous new yak wool sweaters they just released - add one of those and you'll be happy in the Nelson even on colder days.
I've always focused more on down jackets and long coats like the Mederick for my wardrobe, and now that I want some variety, it doesn't make sense to include something that's neither 100% comfortable around the neck/hip nor in my preferred colors. You're absolutely right, I wouldn't end up reaching for it as much as I would for the Nelson or any other jacket without the same issues. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one, I haven't seen this mentioned before so I thought I'd voice it even though it might have just been a "me" problem. Have you tried any of those new yak wool sweaters? I'm tempted to get the Gaspard in Vintage Blue just to have something lightweight/pop of color but warm enough for this season. I was so tempted to get the one in Perfect Green, but it seems like it's a warm green shade, so I skipped that one.
@@marianapereirae HI Mariana, Yes I bought the Lauren in the mottled grey. It's lovely. It has a higher neck too, BUT it's easy to fold it down and it looks nice folded down. You might like the crew necked Maurice in the yak since it also comes in vintage blue??

@@pixi78 it's super soft. I love it so much. On me it hits mid hip and is a bit of a wider fit. Looks fab with skinnies and cigarette pants. Looked dumpy with my wide leg pants
@@sparklie962 yes I think it probably needs to be worn with something with a slim leg to balance it out. The knit is the feature of the outfit that way. I still have some cigarette pants and skinny jeans for this reason. 💕 I’m going to order now 🫣😂

Eloane skirt looks fabulous on you too. The Meline ballerinas in patent purple are beautiful. I feel like the colour is a bit richer than the purple the Paula babies were. I’m very curious about the Alexiana blouse with the quilting. I may need to try that one! I have never been to Italy so would love to see any content you might wish to share. Safe travels!

Leandre dress looks great on You. I sent mine back although I love it as sizw S was big from hips but ok from top. Maybe will try xs. Those hips really bothered me. I don´t like very clingy knitted things and usually size S is fine but as the hip line is cut very curvy ti was empty from sides on me. On the other hand Marilou skirt and Camila top in caramel in size S were fitted me very well. You never know about sezane.

I wouldn't know what to choose lol - wide leg: I tried them in my regular 40 and couldn't even pull them up! it was the jeans, so maybe that's also the reason, but it was so baaad! wide legs where? I have large hips, but my thighs aren't even thick. LOL such a disaster! :( - the skirt is so beautiful too. What are you keeping in the end?
Oh really, that's sad to hear that your regular size didn't work out! It might have just been the different fabric, but honestly, I've had this experience before: my regular size (40) doesn't even button, while the one size up (42) fits huge on me, as you saw I could easily fit my whole hand in the waist, that's how huge they are! This unfortunately discourages me from trying any of Sezane's bottoms anymore because the fit is not consistent as one would expect from such unfriendly cuts for our curves and immense differences between sizes. I'm not sure if I'll even bother trying a size down and going through the hassle of returning it. As for the jackets, I'm still thinking about keeping the Nelson jacket (I loved it so much, but I'm afraid I won't be able to wear it much starting next month as it gets colder and colder here :/). I'm keeping the Eloane skirt, Mathew pants, ordered the Alexiana in a bigger size... still thinking about keeping or not the Low Meline (I love it so much, but I need to restrain myself a bit since I recently bought the Tabi ballerinas lol).

I was tempted but didn't get the denim Tomboy because I recently bought one at Arket, so it wouldn't make sense now. I think you should at least try it. The skirt is surprisingly comfortable and it accentuates our curves nicely!

The colour of the corduroy pants is beautiful on you, but I understand what you’re saying about the cut. I usually have to go up a size to accommodate my bum and then have a gap at my waste so I always have to wear a belt. The denim skirt looks great on you with the boots and shirt. I have a weak spot for denim. Have a good time on your trip.

The tomato jumper, I have an issue with its length, it's longer than a jacket but shorter than a coat, I don't really get it. It puts me off since the moment I saw it online. So shapeles too! Why Sezane, why.
I see your point, and I think it looks better in the lookbook because the model is taller and thinner than me, so it automatically looks less shapeless. What bothered me the most was how tight the coat was around my hips, maybe because of my frame. As for the length, I feel like I need an in-between option - sometimes I don't want to wear long coats, but it's cold enough that a simple jacket wouldn't work. I'm still looking for the perfect one!
