- Sitting in 5th place after the first day at the 2024 Tackle Warehouse MLF Invitational on Lake Champlain. Hoping to go out today and repeat that success to stay in contention for the win.
The mild winter and early warm weather has the majority of the fish already done spawning so many of the anglers will be focused on post spawn fish. The lake (as always) is fishing really well but it is always a challenge to find the better than average fish.

I recommend you get a foam life vest. They never fail.
You whacked them again. They've been whacking me lately. Had them going on a spoon early and a 5XD later last week and my last trip, it was flipping shade in 2' for babies. When will they learn. Stupid fish. Doesn't help the wind blew from the east at 40 mph.
I’ve got a good foam live vest and I’ve been wearing it this week at St Lawrence
