that’s a wellskate. all you do is heavy attack, then right click with Eager Edge active, then super and jump at around the same time and you get launched with the momentum from eager. it’s pretty easy and you can do it on almost any surface.

how do you do that eager edge skate without weapon swapping like at 0:55? edit: i think i figured it out. you still have to swap to another weapon but you swap back to the other half shortly after and click jump at the same time so the momentum still preserves.
@@ugorizzoli5830 I play on console so macros are like a foreign language to me lol, I spent so many hours on Nessus and in random strike just practicing my wellskates, after long enough you’ll almost never mess up and there are even some skates that are possible from flat ground without any ledge that are pretty cool

Honestly the only time felwinter is good is speedrunning dungeons, or sometimes if youre soloing something. Starfire is usually much better for 99% of things

@@runeofaia4465 where the ledge meets the transparent area, try sliding into and then light attacking with your sword 🙂 It may take a few attempts to get down but once it clicks then you'll be well on your way
If you are on the ground and move backward you can shoot it a bit faster, otherwise you can stand in the wizard slow bubble, jump, and spam heavy attack. The animations can interact and result in faster attacks.

When the boss sticks his sword in the ground and stops attacking you have a bit of time before he picks it back up then you wipe. To avoid it you just have to be outside of the inner circle.

If you use your uncharged melee by using you super when it’s not charged just before you take physical damage you can negate the damage. Works best with snap melee bc of the long animation but also works with other uncharged melees
@@kennydoley2434 yep, you just jump and heavy. Because your jump gets reduced you can jump in faster succession allowing for a faster heavy spam. You can start out by just spamming jump and heavy but once you get the rhythm you can make it even faster.
I kind of feel like the chamber encounter can go faster, but maybe I’m missing something. From my perspective, meleeing all those enemies just seems slower than just using a healing grenade

Everyone talking about well skating like it's new, but I've run Pit dozens of times including solo flawless and had no idea you could heavy attack with the relic sword that fast. How are you doing that? It looks like just jump+heavy but I swear I've tried that and it doesn't work that way lol. Maybe I'm missing something?
It’s lament but also the hive sword. It’s all frame rate based so you can end up throwing the enemies around or going through the boss which isn’t good. Capping it reduces these occurances.
When I soloed it, I died in the drop down twice… I gave up on solo flawless pretty quickly. But I did the rest of it with only a few deaths. Tbh solo flawless is just so stressful I don’t find it worth it personally. But for good pve players, it’s gotta be easy
After the removal of ball duping, I'd say pit is a bit harder to solo flawless due to rng reasons. However with bonk titan + classy its super easy to do. If you want to get into doing solo flawless stuff, I'd start with shattered throne or grasp of avarice. Both fairly easy dungeons and fun to run. Shattered being easy simply because of how old it is lol
According to the D2 speedrunning rules for the pit of heresy category, glitches are allowed. Therefore the run is entirely valid. If the run had been flawless, it would not have been as fast.
It would likely be a lot easier, obviously you couldn’t do it at the same speed but it all depends on your idea of a glitch. Would you consider a well skate a glitch? After all it is unintentional by the devs. What about the various animation cancels featured throughout the run? Those are also unintended by the devs. The beauty of glitches in these runs is they make the runs a lot more entertaining and much more skillful. If you would like to see glitchless runs, there’s categories for such runs. The point of speedrunning is to complete the activity as fast as possible by any means necessary within reason. The community has determined glitches to be within reason.

For warlock I used an lmg and fusions for dps. Maybe not the best dps but made the whole thing super easy overall.

If you are standing in a wizard slow bubble, you can jump and spam heavy constantly and you can get hits in a bit faster.

At higher framerates lament will end up tracking past what you're trying to hit sometimes and it can fuck with damage
